So far the edges have not been an issue, but I am using a 3 ply mesh head so it's possible that is why. You could also pretty easily sand it down yourself if you wanted.

@@xPaPaDx It's possible, but then I started to think that some modern drum edges are actually pretty sharp anyway.

Great review. Seriously thinking about picking up a whole set of them. Hey, can you try out the bass drum one? I really like to see your review on it because it seems to be the best bass drum conversion without paying Roland prices or having to do some weird combo of mesh head and trigger placement.

That's really great !!! I'm trying to find something cheap for my friends kids. Maybe this is a good option if I find some thrift store drums !!! Although, he lives in NYC and wants something you can collapse...lol Who wants to play if you have to set them up all the time though... Hahahahahahaha Especially kids. Oh well, still something to think about ! Thanks ! Ps. Still waiting for you to try the Roland Digital hats, snare and ride and see what you think of them compared to everything else out there. Love that you try so many new things !!! ATV module sounds real good, and as always, GREAT PLAYING ! Have a great day ! 👍😁👍

Very Cool! I like the concept as long as the company dulls those edges and I would be afraid that the cable could fall out the bottom. so I hope they do make those threaded barrels longer. I used Extreme triggers a kit i bought I had it up and running in 20 minutes . BTW Love this Channel ! I live in NJ By Asbury Park It would be cool to see you do something remote out here . I got Ideas ☮

Awesome man! Demonic Sweaters (the band) would love to play at Asbury Park! You have in show hookups over there?

Hi Justin! Have you had any success using a Yamaha DTX-ProX with an A2E build? I ask because this trigger plate is very similar to the internals of Yamaha's latest snare pads. From what I've read, the inability to get a snare working well is what has kept many people from using this module for their kits. And I'm looking to get over this hurdle. Thanks!

I've never tried any Yamaha modules actually. I have always just heard they're weird with compatibility, so never bought one, haha.

Do these have positional sensing to use with Roland ?

I don’t think so

How does this not damage the bearing edges?
@demonicsweaters Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure how it would. It’s smooth plastic.

If the part that is in contact with the bearing edge is flat, wouldn't that constant pressure flatten the bearing edge with all that tension and impact? @@demonicsweaters
@demonicsweaters Жыл бұрын
@@austinpalmer8850 I suppose it's possible, you might be right. Though I don't think I'll ever switch this snare back, so I'm okay with that.
