World Exclusive - World First - BMW E39 M5 GS7D36SG 7 Speed DCT gearbox conversion!

World first - BMW E39 M5 with a GS7D36SG DCT 7 speed transmission.
As we are now testing the new installation and adjusting the Gearbox Control Unit parameters, we've decided to upload a little video as a sneak peak of what's to come in the future!
As far as we are aware, this is a world first to have this transmission with the S62 V8 in an E39 M5 chassis.
More videos to come once the fine tuning has been completed - But it's good enough at the moment to share!
Massive thank you to the gents at HTG Tuning who supplied the GCU and amazing support to enable me to learn as a complete tuning / mapping novice how to tune the software!

Could you provide more details on what is involved in getting this DCT transmission to work on the M5 such as parts list, what kind of fabrication is required, and whether it is an improvement over the 6 speed GETRAG? Thank you.
