I will if I can. Search for "Bowls FInal" and filter to the 20 min or longer ones and you'll find a few.

watching this video at November 29th 2018. At 1:08:50 in this video Marshall drives the jack into the ditch BUT the marker removes his bowl saying it is out of bounds. It doesn't look like it to me! Isn't the white stripe the boundary marker?

Hmm interesting. Not sure their rules. Usually there is a line in the middle of the white stripe that actually makes the line but still looks in, you're right. Maybe the angle is an optical illusion. I know the markers do a very good job and wouldn't made that kind of big mistake, you can see him looking over the bowl just before the camera angles changes.

if you are here to watch bowls, skip to 8.30 and dodge the boring unnecessary bolllocks

i was brought here by the funny Pharrel video. it's like carpeted curling. i now get the rules and points would like to try some day. i do wonder what are they spraying next to the bowls?

When a delivered Bowl touches the Jack (the target ball) it's marked with chalk to designate it a 'toucher.' Should that bowl go in the ditch - at the end of the rink - it is still in play and can count for points. Other Bowls that fall in the ditch are taken out of play.

No prob. I just took the game up a couple years ago, now I'm addicted. Lots of fun.

I am new to playing this game and I have watched many videos in a hope that the players technique would help me to find a rhythm, but I am a bit confused when watching Phil Foster as he walks forward like a zombie when delivering his bowl, I am sure he has a reason, but one I can not think of! Can anyone tell why he does this?

Learn from other players. But develop what works for you.

Why would anyone watch this boreing ass sport in 2015
@LawnBowlerUK9 жыл бұрын
Because it's much more skilful than whatever you play!
@Pitbuller497 жыл бұрын
*'Boring'* Because it requires finesse, concentration, sportsmanship and skill to play.

Michael Leadingham, Bowls is the best sport on earth, " go Paul "Fossie" Foster and Alex "Tattie" Marshall 🛫👊 😃 How on earth can you call Bowls "Boring" when you you have the most boring sport in the world "American Football" where you stop the game every 5 seconds for no apparent reason ?! Glass houses and stone's spring to mind 🤣LMAO

I played soccer as a kid, Rugby League while at school making the first 13, and 1st Grade Rugby Union for 5 years, but it was Lawn Bowls that made me sleep best at night. The game is mentally challenging, more than you could imagine. Certainly, with your comment, more than you would be capable of I suspect.

Its infinitely more challenging than snakes and ladders I can assure you!
