Yes, it's a shame that dancesport isn't more well known and popular in Australia, but I guess that's what you get for an expensive artistic sport. Can't wait to see how the Aus Championships go.

The male commentator is Paul Green - semi finalist at Blackpool, and the female voice is a popular Dancing with the Stars Celebrity - Charli Delaney. Paul has more then a "crap" idea of dancing !!!!

The reason why these two where chosen was not for the fact of their dancing ability, but how the Australian non dancing audience can relate to the event. I totally agree with the comment made about 2004 worlds, I thought that it was one of the best, but Channel 7 have no idea about dancing and its industry / technical aspects, they are only concerned on its appeal to the general public.

Yes Paul may be a good dancer, but not so much a great commentator. As opposed to the commentary of the World Latin Championships 2004, where Karen and Richard offered great insightful and extensive knowledge of the dances (what to look for, technique, what was good/bad about a couple), the incessant rambling of Paul and Charli pales in comparison. Just because Charli was on DWTS, doesn't qualify her to commentate, or in this case nitpick at the physical aspects.

This woman (the commentator) is clueless! And it is annoying to have to hear her opinion about the hair, the tan, the costumes.....perfectly void of use or worth. Tsk tsk.
