Here's what I really like about your podcasts: 1.- You let the person talk and express themselves without interrupting. 2.- You listen, you are still and present. 3.- You make valuable questions that keep the conversation dynamic, interesting and flowing easily. Thanks!

I'm 43 and I always wanted to marry but never wanted to have children. It was refreshing to hear Marie speak about her inner knowing and following it. I appreciated Steven reflecting on how biased society is towards women who don't follow the prescribed path and allowing Marie to talk more about it. I also appreciated Steven being aware of his bias...as soon as Marie said she didn't want to marry or have children his immediate response was "why" but yet we don't do the same for someone that expresses they want to get married and have children...maybe we should be asking "why" when people express wanting to follow the societal norms.

My God! I'm sitting in my atelier at the University, tearing up by how mind-blowing the idea of being ok to do multiple jobs/interests at one time. I'm 36 and last year I started my second school at an Art University, in the same time as being an entrepreneur who works a minimum of 10 hours a day at 2 jobs. The society's paradigm of how we are supposed to live our life can make us feel unhappy. But my inner voice was just activated by hearing you say that it is ok to touch all these parts of my life. I'm so grateful for this interview and for the interactions you have, that I'm sure I will be listening to this many more times. 🙏 THANK YOU!

The picture of her on the stage, not dead but apparently neither alive she was mumbling as the crowd boo her,may God forgive them because those were the last words she heard bcs later shhe was found dead in the hotel room. Toxicology confirmed I think that she had benzo combo with our wine distilled hard liquor. God bless Amy, and the crowd she performed for. I had the same experience at 7 and my mom taught me never to depend on man or anyone and I took that to heart and good thing cause I ended up raising 4 boys on own with no help and retired at 32 and turned 40 this yr and now remarried and happy but was glad I had own homes and cars and finances to bring to table and that I am proud I was able to take Care of my kids without help or desperate and showed them what's possible. I'm proud of myself even though no one has ever told me and even my family made me feel like I didn't or wasn't enough. Taken till now to be happy and proud of myself and not care what other think. It was so hard and went through hell and back but I always worked on myself and been in personal development even before a thing.

What truly changed me in this podcast is when she talk about “ It is Okay to have multiple passions “ ( I’m paraphrasing here ) Wao! I have been feeling stuck for so long . Being afraid of choosing the wrong thing. She just opened up something within me. I now feel like “ Fuxk it ! Just take the next step . Walk into mistakes ! On the topic of honesty about what you do or don’t want to do.. today I was invited to dinner and ~upgraded~ from “I can’t..” to “I think I’m going to go home.” Afterwards, I decided that I don’t need to say “I think”, as I had heard someone do the same thing earlier, and recognized it was silly. I do really value my choice of words and believe that little things like this can make a huge difference over time.

Often we are led to believe academic achievements define success, but for those who aren't academic or do not have the opportunities to take that path (like me), it is great to be reminded that thos isn't true at all - Marie illustrates this beautifully.

Haven't heard about Marie before, and now I am determined to read her book: the conversation was so insightful. Steven, you have great guests, but the reason your podcast stands out for me is how you drive the conversation, what topics you raise and how honest and deep the conversations are. Massive thank you. I want to rewatch many of the episodes with pen and paper taking notes.

I'm such a fan of Marie - she's drop dead gorgeous but her real attractive qualities are her sense of humor and her approach to everything. I grew up with many of the same issues she describes but as a man and the youngest of 5 kids it's been a struggle my whole life to find meaningful work. Our families only answer was "grit your teeth and just do the bad thing you hate and then do what you want". Literally when work is what you hate, you only get like 2-3 hours a night to do what you want. So at 48, burned out and having no real other plan, i walked away from a 6 figure job with nothing lined up. That was 8+ years ago and I"m just now starting to figure some things out. 56 seems like an odd time to be still working on all this but hey, the universe has my back. I just want to get the money flowing before the savings dries up. But this podcast gives me hope and so much to think about. Thank you both!

Usually, when money is the north star, many are unkind to other people. Marie was unkind to herself, sacrificing her well-being in the process. With the point i just made, i can firmly say that her desire to "heal love" is or was her north start, not money. In other note, i love what happens on this channel. I simply feel compelled to share my thoughts because i am fully engaged.

This episode really validated me especially when you talk about being multi passionate. I love doing so many things and try bizarre and new experiences just for fun and that surprsingly helps me work more efficiently than others.

That "voice' inside, is the child in us. Not in a 'childish" way, but a voice that doesn't care about hierarchy and doesn't objectify itself. It's pure curiosity and connection to the World.

The "One Child" Is SOOO REAL! At 33 I'm triggered every single day. A color, a car, a dish, or the similar abuse yet worse with my relationship now. Six years, wasted and lost the last two and a half I'll never get back, but I'll NEVER put myself in this situation again. I'm better off alone purley concentrating on myself for the most concentration and love and teaching for my children!

It’s great to hear that Marie finally opened up about her struggles with ADHD and many other things that’s so toxic in our desire to succeed.💖 I loved her work since I discovered her work and it’s amazing how she evolved into sharing the not-so healthy stories behind the life coaching industry. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ I can resonate with Marie’s experience having been diagnosed with ADHD at at a later age. It’s good to hear conversations like this instead of talking about success, money, and the culture of always hustling continuing to engage in toxic positivity. Yipes. 🥴 Knowing what I know now brings so much peach these days. 🎊 🎉💖⚡️🥰 I’m so happy to finally stopped learning and buying from self-help courses including Marie’s because I let ego ruled over me earlier on. Ahhh!! It feels good to listen to my body now! Freedom to making expansive choices these days. ❤
