A high exchange rate does not necessarily indicate a weak economy. Additionally, please be aware that the data provided is currently being analyzed based on the date the video was created. It is important to note that currency rates fluctuate daily. For the most up-to-date information, we recommend verifying the latest data from various sources or official government websites. Thank you.

The value of a currency does not necessarily reflect the wealth of a country. A more valuable foreign currency does not necessarily mean that the foreign economy is larger or stronger. Exchange rates are set by a variety of factors, including the amount of money in circulation. Currencies increase in value when lots of people want to buy them (meaning there is high demand for those currencies), and they decrease in value when fewer people want to buy them. There are several ways to measure the wealth of a country. One of the most commonly used measures is **Gross Domestic Product (GDP)**, which looks at all the goods and services exchanged within a country’s borders in a given year. However, there are growing calls to find GDP alternatives to measure countries’ wealth and welfare, as GDP has several flaws. For example, it ignores many crucial ways to measure the wealth of a country: clean air, health, life span, gender equality, opportunity, education, and more. The World Bank's **Changing Wealth of Nations** report goes beyond economic output to estimate global wealth based on natural, human and produced capital.

The thing is that a strong currency isn't always great. Germany for example wants to keep the €uro down, because if its too valuable their exports will suffer.

Currency exchange rates always change and can’t be rated based on amount. For example, 1 dollar is technically 100 cents but you don’t compare that to 140 yen which would be regarded 140 yen to140 cents. It’s false advertising. Also this is true today but not necessarily tomorrow. Also the Kuwait Dinar may be worth 31us cents but a cup of coffee is about 4 Dinar’s in Kuwait which exchanges to over $12US

But many years ago, the Japanese Yen had cents that they called 銭 (sen) and one tenth of a cent 厘 (rin). But it was taken out of circulation because hyperinflation. There were banknotes of 1, 5, 10, 50, 100 and 500 yen which now are coins. And there are now banknotes of 1,000 2,000 5,000 and 10,000 yen. So the Yen is really devaluetad, but the economy is strong now, but at the war time it lost much value.

As an Armenian I can say, that for the last year 1 dollar went down from 500 drams to 380. Maybe some of you would be happy, that you're currency gets stronger each day, but I can tell you for us it's not the case. We are a small country we work only on export, and our country becomes more expensive for foreigners each day. Yeah but it doesn't mean anything actually. Purchasing power is important. They can erase all the zero's from everything. A coffee can go from 40 TL to 4 TL. A dollar can go from 20 TL to 2 TL. A coffee would be still 2 dollars before and after. So this chart doesn't really mean anything.

1 dollar = 12.000 Syrian pound in third world countries such as Syria and Algeria there are Black market for the people . the government price is only for them not for the normal people . so if you want to buy something online or wanna travel out the country you need to buy the currency from the black market which is about 25 to 50%+ value example in Algeria it says 1= 136 but in black market 1 = 205 . that make the people suffer more and every thing is coming from outside so this make life hard and hard every day

@@Techno-Universal No ,American are forced to pay tax ,the only way for them would be to relinquish their American citizenship ,it's the only country in the world that obligate it's citizen to pay tax wherever they are on the world ,while for all the other country ,you have to choose whether you want to pay tax to your home country or to your country of residence (And if you obtain the citizenship of your country of residence ,then you are pretty much forced to pay tax to this country if you choose to stay in it instead of going back to your home country) There is also another privilege the US have and it's for crime committed in international water (And in space too since it count as International water) ,there is only 3 country that can put you on trial/judge you : 1-The origin country of the victim 2-The origin country of the criminal 3-The US
