I remember watching this match live...The highlights don't do it justice! Serena embarrassed sharapova that night.She was absolutely helpless! Serena hit winner after winner with laser beam accuracy! Even the commentators were in shock by how dominant she was. Loved every minute of it!

I think the final was one of the best matches, if not the best match, of her life. Maria wasn't doing anything wrong, she just couldn't do anything about Serena's perfect game from every department. The tournament in general was not smooth sailing for Serena, against Petrova especially and a few others she almost lost, but she managed to come back and win those matches, that's what she wasn't able to do in her late carreer. Kerber, Halep, Andreescu, Osaka... she lost to all these players in straight sets

Probably the most inspiring and exciting championship run in tennis and in sports history. Once Serena fought back in the 2nd set against Petrova, it felt like destiny. I remember watching the final and almost the entire first set were return winners. The reactions from her and the Australian crowd gave me goosebumps, then and when I watched this video! Thanks!

I really like these videos chronicling some of the Williams sisters best runs. However, they would be a lot more interesting if you showed a better balance of the winning points, particularly in matches like the Petrova one in this video showing why the other player put up a challenge or why Petrova dominated the first set
