In this AI observation video I'll talk about what can happen with the world in hoi4 with the mod Road to 56, if suddenly all, or at least most, countries decide to change their ideology to fascism, and the countries with the already existing fascist regime or those who in reality became fascist, if possible change it to an alternative path.

@picardas1638 here is some of my reasoning. One of the differences between socialism and fascist is the free market. If you take that away, the only difference is the amount everyone gets paid. In other words, you get a form of unequal socialism. But that is not what fascism is.

@@qymaen-jai-sheelal fascism has private ownership being replaced by state officials, giving the state the power to plan the economy, i suggest reading "The Vampire Economy" by Gunter Reimann if you're interested, totalitarian states by definition cannot have free markets, since the state controls the TOTALity of life. Its also absurd to suggest fascist states had free markets considering they were at war for a long period of their existence.

Yes it does. Italy under Mussolini had most industries nationalized. Germany had every business not compliant with NSDAP run down. Every other minor fascist nation in Europe advocated for third positionism. Whatever you call that, it's not free market. Free market =/= Business exists. In practice, no fascist state allowed a free market, as it goes against nationalist agenda.

Core of fascist trade was that no foreign stuff should be imported, only exporting domestic stuff. So atleast Nazism was against free trade.

Only in that it serves the state. If it failed to do so in any way. Be it failed quotaa or by being too successful, nationalization was inevitable. It's partially why people say Fascism is communism but more honest. They acknowledge that "privately" run business are generally more effective than state run enterprises but refuse to surrender the ability to hang a sword or Damocles over any potential opposition.
