I did one of these for fun (on hard mode) and the one character that saved my run is one no one would have guessed. It was default Mii Brawler He singled handily beat the first stage and cleared the boss rush and took Galeem to half health before he got killed. I now have way more respect for Mii Brawler

I remember when I was in the bomb bullet hell. I had one set of spirits I used for the entire playthrough, including Ho-oh, who gives an additional mid air jump. I had also finished the skill tree. So, I was Mewtwo, who has a pretty decent double jump, and I had four jumps. I completely ignored the jetpacks.
