Williams Grove Speedway, in Mechanicsburg, PA, was once called " The Ascot of the East",, because it is the home of the toughest local competition that the World Of Outlaws face. Ascot Park Speedway, in Gardena, CA (now closed)'had the toughest non-wing Sprint Car locals with the CRA, dominating the Pacific Coast Nationals through the 70's and 80's.

Great race on a very well prepared track. Yes, Mr. Saldana was not pleased with his performance in the last few laps. His post race interview would not have been "NASCAR media training" friendly.. Dropped the word shit several times. In huge contrast, the crowd was very happy for Mr. Dietrich, as was Lance Dewease who came into victory lane with a huge smile patted Danny on the tummy and gave him a "Way to go".

Yes… Real good race track. As you might guess, the groove was a little bit “slicked off“, but the cushion was real heavy, and the bottom still had plenty of moisture too. Williams Grove Speedway probably has the toughest local competition that WoO faces.

Their driving ability never fails to impress the shit outta me. Still think the mph is a little unnecessary but I guess that is why god also created 360 sprints. Helluva guy

There's no substitute for local knowledge......chalk up another one at "The Grove" for the "Pennsylvania Posse". Last year's National Open winner was Stevie Smith.....another "Posse" member.
