KL could race a dump truck! Been watching him win sprint cars here in Sacramento area since he was 14. I knew he would make it big someday. So happy for him. Before that, it had been like 20 years since a non-Outlaw driver won Gold Cup. What a night for us to watch our local kid take that trophy!

Enter all the Larson haters saying he's lucky, or it's the car, or he's cheating because he's a Nascar driver. When you're living in the moment of greatness, just sit back and appreciate what this guy can do behind a wheel. By the time it's all said and done, he could very well go down as the greatest to ever do it. Maybe not in championships or wins but between his resume of winning in everything. Hell he could very well win at Indy on a road course tomorrow. Hell he won Watkins Glen last Sunday, another sprint car race Tuesday, Knoxville tonight and one of the favorites tomorrow. Tell me another driver in history that has done that, I'll be here waiting lol.

I don't think anyone hates on him, because there's nothing to hate. It's just that he wouldn't be my 1st choice if I had to pick who I'd like to see win it, although it could be worse. The guy's got it, and that's just all there is to it.

@Brian Siler Ganassi never put a lot into nascar, look at that teams entire history. I said resume, not series, not championships. Go watch Donny Schatz interview he just did. "Larson is 1 in 10 million, we will never see talent like this again". Chilli bowl, kings royal, Knoxville nats, outlaw late models, 6 nascar wins, thats just this year. AJ Foyt has forever been considered the best Wheelman, Stewart rivaled him, Larson will go down as the goat to do it when its all done. If they can't keep it straight on asphalt I struggle to see potential for dirt. I feel like the top 10 Xfinity drivers are better than the bottom 15-at times 20 drivers in Cup.
