Quickybaby forgot to mention that at 8:26 that due to the new physics changes, the Conqueror tracking the Obj actually helped the Obj turn. Handbrake turns are not allowed for TDs, but there, we see that break the tracks off effectively caused the right tracks to lock, making the TD swing right faster. If it weren't for the new physics, the Obj would have been simply tracked, unable to shoot the Conqueror immediately as he still has to repair the tracks, then turn.

Daniel Shacou I'm not talking about how fast the Obj repaired his tracks. I'm talking about how being tracked made the Obj "swing right" due to the handbreak turn mechanic of the new physics. Slow down the video and you'd see that the Obj rapidly turned right at the same time he was tracked.

Thanks QB for uploading Suprisek's Obj.263 gameplay! I've been waiting so long for you to post a video like this. I'm going up that line now, and I really wanted to see the top of the line in action, and I'm very impressed, especially by that thing's armor! I never would've guessed that an OPEN-hatch TD would ever Ricochet rounds. i love your videos! you have contributed so much to e wot community and myself. I used to expect my armor to keep my alive, until I took your advice that all tanks have guns, and all tanks have armor, but spotting distance and camouflage are what can really make the difference. i think this was in your amx cdc replay. this advice doesn't really apply to my e75,lol, but it has made an incredible difference in my performance with tanks such as my e25. as a matter of fact, that advice led me to get my very first mastery badge in the hetzer. with your help, I have gone from bad to meh, lol. thanks a million, and keep up the good work.

Thought I had at around 9:40 - The thing people tend to forget is that AP (and APCR) rounds lose penetration with distance. Not much, mind you, but there are a lot of tanks at tier 9 and 10 that have guns with a penetration value around 250 with their AP shells (like the Tortoise at the end). Even dropping 10 mm in penetration, you're going to have to get a lucky penetration roll to go through the UNANGLED gun plate of the 263. If you can keep your lower plate hidden, and keep enemies far away from you, this tanks frontal armor becomes even more OP than it already is, and as demonstrated in the video, APCR rounds don't automatically make this thing Swiss cheese either. Needless to say I want one.

I think the tortoise was aiming for the vision slits on the left and right superstructure. For some reason people think that they are weak spots. They are not the only time I've been penned there in my 263 was by a Jgpz E100 on higher ground firing HEAT.

I think the Tortoise was trying to shoot the gun plate but was freaking out a bit from the pressure and was missing. He must have been shooting into it and penning when he was peaking over, unless he shot into the engine deck. That thing sure is a beast.

I'm kind of surprised you missed two of the other weak points on that tank. 1) There's flat armor at the bottom of the frontal superstructure. 2) The hull roof can be overmatched by anything not firing HE or HEAT and HE still might even go though it. Considering it's so low to the ground, you can more often than not get a shot in to the hull roof (the part perpendicular to the gun if you're confused).

+Kellin Quinn QB did mention shooting down on the engine roof... somewhere in the video the flat part of the casemate is 250, sure, but it is thin and just not reliable enough for normal TX guns to go through most of the time. If you can shoot that part chances are you can overmatch the engine roof also.

best place to shoot is the plate that connects the gunshield and casemate. in close ¼s like with the tort, shooting this plate is easy pen. You can see it in the tank viewer, the gun shield is set back slightly from the casemate

Man I just got this tank and I was surprised with how weak the armor is. Everyone slings heat at you the moment they see you and they have over 10 spots that they can penetrate you frontally with that heat. It's very frustrating facing so many gold slingers. The lfp is a huge weakness, the side armor is actually garbage because if not angled at an auto bounce angle heat can easily penetrate it and that goes for both parts of the side armor, both parts of the ufp are penetratable by high rolls of heat damage or negation of the sloping by looking down into the tank, tanks tall enough to HE the open top or shooting down onto it wreck this tank, The gun mantle is weak and you can shoot through the small gaps, the roof is overmatchable so tall tanks like the E-100 can penetrate you without shooting gold, and if you shoot the flat section on the hull before it starts sloping it's 250-260 mm of armor. Artillery also completely destroys this tank. How he was playing in this video not moving and relocating would mean instant death if artillery was in this match.

niether quickybady was wrong, or the Object 263 has been buffed with the gun malet and lower plate. the lower plate has 150 and the gun malet is 270 with the slope so now you should shoot the lower plate (still a weak point) or shoot the flat armor plat under the gun. this information was bought to you by the knowledge base for WOT

I prefer the 100mm personally I feel that its just more reliable and has better dpm, the 122mm is also no where near as good as the BL-10 on the ISU-152 ;)

I havent played the Su 101 with the 122 yet but the 100 was so damn nice. Beautiful handling and that DPM was addicting. Penetration was never really a problem as a medium tank player (yes, I played it like a campy med) and if so...330 mm HEAT. One day I decided to waste money and took down a Maus frontally shooting at the cheeks...it was very amusing.

If you´re facehugging one of those things you can just shoot right through the engine deck underneath the gun. It´s only 30mm thick and can be overmatched easily.

if you are aiming for t10, then the Type 61 is the easy choice here since the STB1 is far better than the 121

+ChronicCoding 121 Is a good med too, but the gun depression is just so bad and that limits the tank a lot, and the weight of the gun makes it bad in terms of acceleration. Anyway, 121 has a really good armor compared with most of t10 mediums, and the gun has the highest alpha with also a very good dpm, not as good as russian meds or STB, but almost. It´s a really good brawler med, i have a lot of fun with it, it´s a beast when u play it right. I think too that STB is so versatile and fit in every situation, just sick tank. But 121 isn´t bad at all.

thx guys, i went with the WZ-120 because it took 20k less xp from my wz-132 vs sta1. i plan on both the tier 10 meds soon. the stock wz120 is so shit!!!! also, i have better stats in my t-34-3 than sta2 so i used that as a guideline . thx! can't wait to unlock my first tier 10!

The tortoise can easily finish him off with a HESH round when he's in 86 HP. But he panicked. Also 330mm pen APCR with 550 alpha is by no means weak. It will go through everything frontally except Maus and E-100/JzPzE-100's upper plate or IS-7's turret front.
