But the non premium T-28 doesn't have the armor upgrade that the F30 version gets. At tier 4 you still have a lot of pesky, fast, lights running around with large caliber machine guns that will sting a normal T-28 to death in just 3 or 4 seconds.

I haven't been in a T-28 since 2012, no wonder my memory of the tank is so much different than how it plays right now - That gun really was amazing, made the T-28 one of the great tanks to dink around with at lower tiers.

I brought this and in my first ever game and I was top tier. Got 6 kills, a M3 Stuart, T56 GMC, AMX 40, Hetzer, Matilda II and another Hetzer. Got a flood of medals including Ace tanker. Played this tank a couple times now and haven't lost a game. This tank is OP with that big gun. And my T-34 crew were only like 80% as I am using the tank as a trainer. This tank is in my daily round of usage and now my russian medium crews will start showing their teeth soon. I say buy it.

What armour? Well let's see... I use the stock turret on Jumbo and have an armour use efficiency of 1.3 with an average damage blocked per game of about 640. That means I effectively have TOG levels of health. View range lets you carry and outplay opponents, but the Jumbo isn't a serious meta tank however you build it - it's about stomping mid-tier noobs in T-150s.

+MerryJerry at that tier it actually will do rather well, doubly so side scraping. you have to remember that is in the realm of the two existing tier 4 heavy tanks. look at the DW2 vs this things armor performance. On paper same thickness in practice this MEDIUM tank out does the DW in gun, armor protection, and mobility so do say how that is fair and balanced?

There are plenty of other vehicles that the MM could put into a game against it that can easily kill it. A tank is OP when there is little to no chance of it being killed before the end like the Matilda. Not many tier 4 guns can pen the Matilda reliably but the T-28 FE 30 can be penned a lot easier. It's not an indestructible monster.

This tank is NASTY when top tier and clubbing other tier 4s and lower, only took two battles to ace mine and clubbed a tier 6 team lol. 1700 damage and two kills (arl v39 and Jap Tiger), that pen in tier 4 tournaments is lethal :o If it had more health the things it could do would be what a lot of players could only dream of.

Right in the description of the Ace Tanker badge/medal it says it means your xp score for that one game was in the top 1% of all games played in that vehicle within the past week. It's totally OP with that alpha. 100% worth it! Pick-a-boo tacktick is best for it! I don't have much time playing (only 23 battles but it's best tank I've ever played!). Only downside is that if you won't aim then it won't hit.

For that price, yes it is. Only games I've done 1500+ damage in are tier 6 games. It's not the most accurate sniper due to shell speed, but it gets the job done. And as a top tier it's just a bully. Only had 22 games in mine yet. 90% WR and it's still over 1K average on the damage. The view range it has makes it even a great scout with bincos if you want. But 300m radio and the 3 sec aim time can be a killer at times.

I love the T-28, got 2.3K damage with it in a tier 8 game (mainly aiming for fuel tanks and ammo racks-the APCR is absurd since it has 189mm of penetration).

Bought it and it's worth it for the tiers it matched up in. Even with tier six match making it's a good tank but I use it more as a support tank when playing tier six. Using the binoculars makes easy work taking out those heavy tanks that have taken a beating already. I give this tank a B+ only do to the many engine fires I am experiencing with it. I feel that that will be its biggest weakness.

Guys, chill out. This tank is far from OP. The match making is so brutal with this tank that it gets too tier 1 time out of 20 ( yes, I did count it.) You will spend most of your games sniping because your gun handling is too bad to put quick shots at close range without being killed. Specially against tier 6 wich is what you get most of the time. The gun only works when you are completely stationary. overall, it's not a great tank

I am surprised nobody thinks the Hetzer is one of, if not the best Tier 4 around, small, low profile, and can fit a derp gun that down at tier 4 has enough pen to tear open most anything and deal enough damage to make Tier 6's cry if it pens them. Plus the top gun is also very meaty, and the armour is decent.

I bought it here on NA for $9.99 with 500 gold. First game, tier 4 match, ace tanker, top gun, and high caliber, 1500 damage, and 42k profit with a premium account. Absolutely worth the $10. It is OP in a tier 4 match, though it is probably reasonable against tier 5s and 6s and we all know how often tier 4 tanks are actually top tier.

I´m a noob, less than 5k battles. Overall yellow, recent green stats. And even I get showered with medals, XP and credits in this tank. I can only fathom what an experienced player can do with the T-28E I run this thing with vents, GLD, camo paint and optics and I get ridiculous amounts of XP only for spotting damage. Tier IV: Step to the side Matilda, there is a new king around... Tier V: You kick arse, and they can´t see you... Tier VI: They totally underestimate you... "Haha, puny tier IV, let´s just ignore him... BANG... Oh wait, where did that 160 HP go?" This tank is just insane :-)

I remember this 160dmg gun. The gun stats are a tad worse than what they used to be because it took 2.5 seconds to aim it. With a different aim code however. WIth the change to 105mmHE for low tier, I have trouble 1shotting regular T28's, so an armored and slower one is no different. I never understood why they took it out. The armor begs for spall liner because derps.

Best tier 4 tanks are T40,SU-85B and Matilda. I did over 2k dmg in my T40 a lot of times,my top dmg done is 2600 :)

Васил Димитров I thought of that as well! We have 53mm pen for 410 dmg on average. If we catch the turret, 50mm all around, he dies! (unless RNG takes a dump on us, like me today, got shot 4 times, ammo-racked all 4 times in a row, with 2 different tanks.

Good tank, runs on Vodka. Cannot go wrong getting it. The s0viet 85mm is one of the best guns in game, combining very good penetration and alpha damage of AP/APCR with epic HE. What's not to like.

LoL. I remember the old T-28. When they changed the MM to +/- 2 it was one of the rebalanced vehicles. The F-30 was removed because it was deemed OP on a Teir 4 vehicle. So they added it back in on a premium tank.... I'm not interested in premium vehicles that are saddled with extras I don't want. The Shop used to not have bundles. And players have not wanted them bundled since the first time they added them that way.

This tank owns all @ Tier 4, remains competative at Tier 5 and holds its own in Tier 6 matches. It is a good crew trainer & money maker. I have nearly 90 games in mine so far and am enjoying it. However, I think it promotes seal clubbing which makes me feel kinda dirty.

Are your REPLAYS not saving? Forums suggest checking if the settings in-game are on "Battle-recording" "all" or if the replays folder is set to "read-only" Something they don't mention is that: In the launcher window, go to settings and disable HD(beta) resolutions. Dunno why, but with them on I wasn't getting ANY replays. So now you know.

Not worth it to me. I have a 60%WR in my t-28 and the only things that make it work are: Gun Handling DPM and Mobility This thing literally took away all of that for 50mm of armor, which is barely useable at tier 4. Without Pref Matchmaking you'll get 2 shot by tier 6 and crushed by tier 5s who out maneuver and out DPM you. And relying on 0.41 accuarcy to snipe? Nope, not with its camo rating. I just see thing as an equally unarmored and giant t28 that cant get to cover fast enough. Don't get me started on that stupid calendar thing. Those things were designed to give you a nice treat. Its just a glorified advertisement to sell more stuff and make you feel like your unboxing something. Not to mention their obsession with bundles. Not as bad as usual, but I still don't need that 1000 gold.

people really don't get the value of a premium tank. this a completely new armor on the t28 and I don't risk blowing my tracks anymore. I have the a44 and the t34 85 (122 for me) so crew is easy to come by. I also got an excess of bia crews from buying the Berlin quartet a second time. people just like to be sour about balance

Get the Rudy on their 24 hr special coming up soon. Its the best Tier 6 Medium, even better than the cromwell. Pros: Good mobility GREAT Gun Decent spotting/view range Half Decent Turret Eye popping Turret Traverse Good Power to Weight Ratio Bark Bark with 6th sense Cons: Cant train crews :P No prem MM Slightly slower RoF on gun compared to other 34-85 versions.

yeah. But for a Med Rudy has a good combo of .37 Accuracy (AND??) 180 dmg per shot. It seems like anything over 85mm in caliber is enough to blow off the tracks of most opponents that you see at tier 6++. I like my cromwell but Rudy packs it ALL.. Cannot believe I have 220 games in it! What is the credit earning potential of the Crom B? It seems to me like the berlin trio has a good record for Cred making. I really feel like the T28 with this F30 Gun will act like a slow Rudy: It has not that good overall armor (Hetzer Has 64 pen on the Derp, Will still 1 shot this meal) .

I had already decided to not buy this tank before watching this video. I also honestly believe the regular t-28 with the ZiS-4 gun is the best tier 4 in the game. The thing that make it good is the gun handling and mobility. Giving up that for meh armor and better alpha seems bad. I don't enjoy tier 4 games anymore and mostly played t-28 when I was a noob, and kv-1s was a tier 6 tank. Still have a 59% win rate and six Lehväslaihos in it.

Replace the standard T-28?! No, no, no! That's the best tank I have, it's pure domination with that 57mm gun and its mobility. I initially got it just to get to the KV, but when I saw how good it was, decided to keep it and get perks for my crew. The regular T-28 with sixth sense and even more maneuverability is just unfair to other players...
