Actually Jingles.... Armour always reduced HE damage but HE splash used to work differently. HE shells used to create a sphere upon impact and the damage would always go through the weakest point in armour inside that sphere. So you could hit 200 mm frontal plate but damage went through your 30 mm floor or hatches on your roof which didn't make any sense. Nowadays, HE shells create a set of rays upon impact and damage goes through the weakest part that those rays have direct line of sight.

That ace tanker Hetzer game was posted on Quickybabys replay site which for some reason doesn't show the 3rd/2nd/1st/Ace tanker badges, so it would have easily been an Ace Tanked

59-16 besides the gun is one of the best light tanks in the game. Fast, manoeuvrable, very small, great turret that actually occasionally bounces some shots. And the gun may have only 85mm of pen (which is SO HORRIBLE), but if it encounters something with weak armour it has amazing burst damage, and with that reload it doesn't have bad DPM either. Many light tank guns are for dealing with other lights, arti and TDs, and this one is one of them.

But the Valentine AT has the howitzer of the Alecto at tier 3 and better camo rating than the cruiser 2. Also I am TOTALLY not seal clubbing in my Hetzer. It TOTALLY is a coincidence that my stats are improving massively since I started playing the Hetzer.

Relative to the second game with the light Chinese tank...I think you're correct Jingles. I was one of those crazy Light Tank drivers that started with the French Lights at Beta and loved my Luchs and all Light Tanks ....for some reason especially the higher tier US and German ones..Spa Panzer etc. I started enjoying them less about 2 yrs ago and gradually found myself shifting to world of Warships when it was in Beta. Not sure why but because I couldn't play my faster light tanks with the same type of aggressive tactics I enjoyed before? Sure love World of Warships and I still do come back over to play light tanks every now and then...usually lower tier now...Panzer IC and Luchs now. If you stop playing Tanks for just a small amount of time you lose your skills very rapidly....or at least I did. Still enjoy them now but you have to play so much more cautiously to be consistently successful..just not my bag. Mark my words...their time will come again... ;-)

yeah with that amount of experience (1400) it is most certainly som bug, because I am pretty sure, I checked, that even the WoT replay shows you if you have ace game or not. I have two games there with the same tank and both show ace. The post battle screen does that too.

Nope. The FV3805 didn't turn blue since he never does damage to allies,thus his average damage done to allies is very low,and he needs ALOT of damage to turn blue. The Batmobile,on the other hand, turned blue,because his average damage done to allies is much higher,so he only needs to do a bit to turn blue. The teamkilling system is sophisticated,it doesn't only depend on the current game,it accounts for past mistakes.

Love this episode so much. Light tanks have been the ones that have benefited most from the physics changes since they can now go into regions of maps that nobody could reach before. Not to mention the handbrake turns they can do which can make for some truly awesome moments. There's a lot of good things going for light tanks these days.

That's because it's true. Maybe not the past two weeks from today, but from the time the game occurred, yes. The Mastery Badge third class is for doing better than 65% of the average score from players in the same vehicle for the previous two weeks, so not getting one means that 1400+ base xp is less than 65% of the average.

got my second mark of excellence, above 500 dmg as well as spotting per match, and i don't use the 57mm ^^ having that burst with the autoloader is always a nice surprise. It's not a crap tank at all, you just have to play to its strengths ^^ only wish WG would actually remove that retarded speed cap already -_- 60kph, while the t37 can pen anything it wants and has a good 66kph top speed. still...i find the 59-16 to be way more fun ^^

True! QB site cannot into Mastery badges if they are not the first ones. There's no tank in game which couldn't be Aced with 1450 baseXP. There are some which have almost such a treshold, but you still can Ace everything with that XP.

I carry two clips of APCR now, but I've done over 1000 damage in it several times. I think it's criminally underrated. Sure, it could use an extra 10-20 pen on AP and APCR ammo, but it's workable right now, and my tank of choice for Detachments.

17:53 - the thing with the Matilda is, while it is OP for it's tier it would get absolutely destroyed if it was at tier 5. As it is it gets routinely stomped on by certain tanks that shall remain nameless (cough cough, OI Exp, cough cough). The one thing that lets it down is it's speed - that means it can be flanked by pretty much any light or medium tanks.

sujmaster The Autoloader can work, but as soon as you are firing at tanks higher than tier 7 its useless. The stock gun can hurt every tank it comes across. Plus, its reload is about 2 seconds, so it fucks the enemies just as fast.

well jingels, ive noticed something else with the light tanks: first passive scouting, then active scouting later in battle is the key to be good in a light tank, especially when u shoot very often, so i end up in a t10 match 3/7 with 3k spot and 3k dmg done, the other times i either just got the spot dmg (happens more ofthen than...) or i get no spot damage and im a full terminator with 4k+ dmg _D

I had a very similar experience to that Hetzer crossing the bridge. I was in my cromwell going full speed, I have sixth sense so I know I wasn't spotted when an S-51 hit and ammoracked me. Then later announced it was a blindshot in chat. If ONLY I knew how to send replays.

20:15 actually it took him less than 5 mins to get up there as the game counter shows there's only 5 mins gone and he has spent some of that time being useless and spinning round, as well as killing one person. I estimate it took him 3 minutes to get up there.
