I was until... Catch up mechanics to get players up to level for new season quickly! Ugh... that's not what classic players want. I was so hyped until I thought about it some more. Instead of horizontal levelling they are staying with vertical. Meaning that if someone joins a month late, and every one is now in the new zone with dungeons and raid, no one will want or need to run the previous tier, especially with forced catch up mechanics. It may not be as bad as I'm thinking, as the whole idea of new way of classic is bonkers. Classic + is what most people want, with finished storylines inside the vanilla world of warcraft. That said, I will 100% be playing as a Shaman tank!!

I do think it’s odd that the level caps have raids but based on the gear drops (saw some dope trinkets), I actually think prior phase raids might be useful for higher level players.

@@Varaben I hope that is the case :) 10 man is a really good number for a raid. Small guilds can get end game things done, PUG's aren't as terrible as 25 or 40's. Despite my negativity I am actually really excited for this new way to play. I was never one to do things for achievements, but I would actually do more in game in terms of exploring that people ticking off achievements. I logged on to retail after 9 months of absence as was greeted with so many quests in the hub. Turns out I didn't need to do anything progressively, I could just jump straight to the current end game phase and skip everything. Logged out and started a new hardcore character (which died before level 10 LOL ).
