At 5:50 that spot by the tree you can run past most of the packs of mobs from the entrance to that spot down below and jump up the side of the tree and then over top of the small hut in front of you to skip alot of the packs during the run as well :)

Those two are definitely the next best thing. For pure dps the agi is better. For Int you have many ways to get your mana back, and in the current raid the fights are so fast it’s rarely a problem. For leveling you are going to slice through mobs so fast it probably doesn’t super matter. The gorilla and bear stuff may be cheaper so whatever is in your budget.

Can anyone explain more on Verigan's Fist over Smite's Mighty Hammer?

They’re definitely close ish, but verigans has the benefit of being 100% drop chance. It’s also higher top end and despite faster speed. The strength on Smites definitely closes the gap some. the itemization on Verigans is bad bad, but the dps is so much higher it helps. We will dump Verigans pretty quick next phase.

Hey man, I have a question: I see you have "flash freeze", but since you use glacial spike you dont have icicles to do damage or does the talent count for glacial spike aswel? Thanks in advance!

Glacial stores up 5 icicles but after that you just send them automatically. So you’re constantly sending icicles even when you have glacial as a talent. In pvp especially you don’t usually send glacial on CD.

What do u think is gonna be more fun on SOD, Paladin or Warrior? i am aware that warror will not be as fun at lvl 25, because, its gonna be like, everyone got some cool stuff going, and ur still just a dude with a sword running around, u dont have your kit of abilities yet, and warriors are always more fun to level at later stages of the game, idk, i like paladin a lot as well, im only interested in either paladin or warrior, warrior is more agressive play, which is fun, however i miss self healing etc, that i have with paladin, therefore, i wonder, if paladin is gonna get that extra bit of damage it misses in classic wow, or if its still gonna be the slow ass class it has always been. with quick short bursts, or wining on "long run with self healing", idk though.

So right now Ret is going to be able to seal twist with Martyrdom seal and command plus having judgment and crusader strike. It's gonna be pretty nasty single target damage. Especially when we get windfury bonus on top of seal twisting.

@teebae6877 so divine storm is mutually exclusive with seal of martyrdom so I don’t think so. You could twist seal of command with righteousness and take storm but I don’t think righteousness is worth the mana

So the nerf pretty much forces divine storm imo. Unless raids are going to be mana starved and that mana return is just invaluable, I can’t see using martydom. The nerf to crusader strike seems unnecessary, but it really just depends how other classes are too. It’s so hard to say and at 25 it might be different than 40/50/60 ya know?

The Art of war suggestion would also open up a "shockadin" play style if it didn't share a rune slot with Seal of Martyrdom. Basically, in later phases with larger raids, there could be a place for a fast 1hd+shield combat caster paladin who's main goals are keeping up judgement of wisdom/life and using Seal of Martyrdom to be a constant mana battery to a caster group. Stack spell power and spam your suggested Art of War implementation + consecration and you'd likely put up some decent damage to boot (or more with additional support). Healers would absolutely love this, especially arcane mage healers in AoE damage situations. edit - Would be another user for those spell damage maces for the alliance besides boomkins and shadow priests

Seal twisting isn't fun and it never was. A better way to increase ret dps, and one that scales commensurate to gear would be sheathe of light, maybe a rune of avenging wrath. Long arm of the law is a great pick though.

@johnrandomdouchebag waiting for an audio cue from a weapon swing timer while trying to focus on when and when not to cast crusader strike so your God isn't locked and keeping a mental note of how many times seal of command has procced in the last minute just to stay as a middle of the pack dps isn't even remotely what I would call fun- if it was I would pick up juggling and become a clown.

@@matthewduest1255 and for a clown you'd still be trash at juggling. Seal twisting made Ret unique and fun to play. Clearly you either played it wrong or never did but you can get a swing timer that showed when your next auto swing was. You can get two maybe three gcd abilities depending on your weapon speed. But anyone wanting to top the DPS list shouldn't be playing Ret, at that point you're just being a RETard

Yea sealtwisting isn't hard to do but annoying.. Setting up WA or another autohit timer to make a class somewhat viable is just bad in my opinion. I rly hope cs and hs will kinda "fix" this

What other stats are you looking at? With this build you’ve got over 500 attack power. You really can only get base stats so int or agi?

@@Varaben 500 ap is a lot i will concede. but dps doesnt matter pre60. and to make a bis guide for lvl 25 reinforces this endgame type of mentality, which is not what sod is going for. if dps doesnt matter while leveling, then stam and int are king imo. u kill slower with a couple more autos but u have less downtime between pulls and ur harder to kill. world pvp is the main activity that blizz is pushing, so a pvp item build is much more viable and effective. str ret leveling builds are the slowest and least effective imo

Faction imbalance is going to be HUGE why would i roll horde when i can play a ret paladin with crusader strike,divine storm and windfury? im playing alliance for the first time ever due to ret paladins being so op .i just dont want to deal with it on horde if i pvp. oh yea and night elf hunters with shadowmeld casting aim shot,explosive shot and arcane shot from stealth before you can react isnt broken in pvp at all.

Yeah they’ve kinda said pvp racials aren’t going to be changed but I feel like we may see some big balance changes. They never really anticipate the meta it seems like.

Blizzard is going to cause an even bigger faction imbalance with how broken ret paladins are going to be why would i roll horde and play enhance when i can destroy everyone on a ret paladin with crusader strike and divine storm.......HUGE faction imbalance inc. if nothing is done ill be playing a ret paladin in sod and play alliance for the first time in classic wow.

Why u think that divine storm is better than SoM in ST? SoM also buffs judgement (literally SoC 70% weapon damage on use), also SoM benefit from feral WF. Also don’t understand, it gives mana to party members or to us too?

It says all party members I assume it’s us too. Why wouldn’t Soc proc from wf too though? My thinking is on single target with a very slow weapon, soc proc chance is very high and having divine storm is another button you press that does big damage. Depending on your mana management and your party, they might not care about the mana return. Speculation on my part.
