This is amazing, I've been binging Pally Time's video's trying to understand them in the exact way you've just finally got me to understand them. You are the herald of the PallyTime Spirit/Stam build! Someone who is able to convey the information in a clean precise manner and importantly short efficient one
@sinfulbliss4788 Жыл бұрын
Very well done and made video, useful information and beautifuly explained. I love how quick and short the video is yet its still very informative and compact with digestible knowledge. Also shoutout to PallyTime.

Best explanation for FSR, I end up confusing people more when i try to explain it. My favorite thing about healing pally tanks is that they drink often enough that i dont feel bad about stopping for mana. >_

I played a resto Druid in vanilla wow and focused on a high spirit build. With the Druid talent reflection, it allowed 15% mana to continue to regenerate even while casting. Additionally, innervate benefitted from having a higher mana regen rate. I used to have around 450 spirit when raid buffed if I remember correctly. Worked really well, especially when you could manage the five second rule into your gameplay. Innervate could easily restore you to full mana.
@joshuabone5857 Жыл бұрын
did this in the past with a holy paladin. even more impressive is when your healer doesn't need to drink in classic

The hit cap table was showing values for dual wield and against a mob +3 levels. I'm pretty sure this isn't a build for raiding warriors.

while the math isn't exact, what's posted online is actually a formula that gives you LESS than what would be calculated. Roughly it's 25% of your spirit per health regen tick, and sitting increases your exact tic regen by 33% there's definitely a slight coefficient missing in the formula but at 96 spirit I regen 27/28 HP a tic standing. Mana regen is roughly calculated at 15+(5/spirit) increased roughly by .5% per point of intellect (while not accurate, gave an error of roughly 8% LESS than what I was regening at different spirit points). Personally, I do think spirit is one of the most criminally underrated stats while leveling as most classes with the exception of warlock and mage. And exceptionally powerful on warrior and rogue (at roughly 80% and 50% respectively)

@JugsOfLight please help! Isn't Rune Sword (of The Bear) better for tanking? It's 1.6s speed, so only 0.1s slower, but deals far more damage than Knightly Longsword. I asked @PallyTime but he said KL is still better
@KK-sg5gl Жыл бұрын
It’s because he uses rank 3 seal of righteousness, which has a hidden buffed spell power coefficient that doesn’t take weapon speed into account. Therefore your weapon speed is a direct dps increase. Maybe you can ask him a more specific question like: how much dps is lost when going from a 1.5 speed to 1.6, and what weapons fall into that category? Btw you have to judge the seal that increases holy damage first, I forget the name atm.
@fsdafdsafdas10 ай бұрын
Agreed, you also have to consider that like, that 0.1 DPS loss when using the judgement of wisdom or whatever gives you mana back for every hit is basically the equivalent of a loss of like 15 mp5. So is the DPS really better than the mana regen of that faster weapon? Really probably not, as that mana regen you're getting you convert to what you need in the situation be it damage or health. Pre like 30 I could see the Rune Sword maybe being better before you get those spells that gets you that on hit gain mana spell kinda thing. (I think that's honestly like a maybe even lvl 34 spell I don't recall judgement of life/wisdom I think are the spells)
@gcstroud24 күн бұрын
Specifically for AoE farming, having a low Dps on the weapon is good. The goal is not to kill a specific mob, but instead rot them all down. If you kill your auto attack target too fast, you have to recast judgement of wisdom/light on something else which costs mana and interrupts your regen.
@pallytime2156 Жыл бұрын
Con damage vs Str even worse. Its physical damage so its 1 DPS reduced by armor where as holy damage is like Lololololololol by comparison. Great vid my dude. I recently made one talking about Gearing and Stam / Int / Spirt... I did't know this vid existed so if it seems like I am talking crud know that I am not. I seriously tried Stam / Spirt one time then was just like "wait... how can I EVER beat just drinking more often with mage water?" At least when it came to holding back the consecration for 1s for +1 spirt tick. If the /sit is true... sprit gear on the while drinking inbetween AoE pulls is probably BiS. I am convinced that Stam / Int + Stam / Spirt gear is BiS for single target... to get a good mix of the benefits of spirt regen and upfront mana pool. NEVER having to drink I feel is a DPS loss. Hard to say though because constant DPS up time is a thing too. "Shrugs" season to taste I guess.

What level would you say this becomes viable for leveling? For instance, I’m level 29 so I don’t have access to Blessing of Sanctuary. Does this spirit build only become effective at 41+?
@JugsOfLight Жыл бұрын
I used the spirit build before getting blessing of sanctuary. The build is nice because of the regen. I would suggest starting with the fivesecondrule addon. Some folks have had issues locating the fivesecondrule addon on curse. For some reason, Cruse's search function doesn't bring it up, but Google will. Really focus on consecration timings. Use Blessing of might and seal of righteousness max rank for auto attacks. Don't worry about judging for damage. Only heal with holy light, and make sure you have multiple ranks of holy light on your bars. Be sure to save enough mana to do one cast of holy light when it's needed. Practice the rotation/priority to see if the gameplay loop is something you enjoy before making the switch. Nothing sucks worse then changing specs and spending a bunch of gold for a build that doesn't fit your playstyle. Prior to buying whale gear, make sure to visit wowhead and look for which base items have the most armor. This will drastically reduce the damage you take. Scrolls of protection are also a great resource to have. Currently level 45 with 6k armor, 59.6% DR. The armor on greens is incredibly important. I cannot stress this enough. More armor = less damage take = more effective healing from spells = better mana management. Mastering mana management is key to the success of this build. I hope this helps. Be safe!

Jugsoflight died, I remember their name. I wonder how, This build seems strong. A pretty great video to make, I would always vender eagle gear as I assumed paladin would always want Bear or Tiger gear
@isaakmurillo2404 Жыл бұрын
it really comes handy as Eagle enchanted plate prices are over the roof, i got a couple of good deals, im wondering how good would be some whalt and some eagle plate gear during early 40s, imy guess is that some combination of spirit/int is optimal, instead of full one stat. Thanks for the vid.
@GrimsBar Жыл бұрын
Eagle Plate is going to run 7-10g a pop. Not only that, you have to buy water which is expensive as well, and have a lot of down time. Eagle is a very good option if you want to play a flex paladin. Whale is nice because it's on the cheaper side, about 1.5 to 2 gold a purchase, you don't need water, and the sustain is remarkable.

The miss chance is 5% not 28%, when fighting a mob of equal level. Please the the following link. classic-wow-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Hit Spirit regen equations online are wrong. The once in this video are closer to the truth. Will be doing an update video once an accurate equation is found. As of right now, there may be intellect break points that increase regen from spirit.

You know what, I learned this a few years ago by chance. I was cleaning my old room at my parents house and found my old Wow Battle chest. It came with the original manuals, and I took a read just for nostalgia. When I got to the regen part it clearly stated that you regen faster while seated. Totally blew my mind.
