really nice content, i am having an issue i get 5 adds, knock his health down pass 66% get chained kill chain and does skullcracker over adds and adds dont die, they just stop attacking and then all fade away together 5 seconds after skullcracker has happened.

Whenever I attempt this he does this weird run around the room and then casts Chains of Woe, one of the 5 adds always dies right before the AOE. This is a frustrating achievement.

I had the same problem but i figured it out. You need to spawn 5 adds in a row. If you resist or quake miss and Angered Earth doesn't spawn, just clear the adds and start stacking again. You need to get 5 adds from 5 chains in a row. If you miss one, the first you spawned will disappear while you get the next one.

OK so for anyone struggling with the timing of sitting down. Create a "/sit" macro and bind it to your scroll wheel. This will almost guarantee you the timing if you just keep scrolling. The only way you can get fucked is if you crit the boss or if he does a long pause between the quakes and one of the mobs despawns because of it.

I did not kill chain of woe, nor back-faced the boss, but still managed to get 5 angered earth to spawn. However, when the boss is casting the spell halfway, one angered earth always despawn. Is it caused by the 2 actions that i missed it?

apparently this happens if you don't get him to 66/33 fast enough. I took a chance and actually faced him for the 5th quake (still using a sit macro though) and did damage to him (one hit to get him from 68 to 60 health) even before I could see the 5th elemental, which then luckily did spawn while the AoE phase was already triggered. worked both times, but no idea how reliable it is. I'd also suggest that you try this on a lvl 95-105 char, rather than 120, if you have one. tanks and healers usually work best.

@@zonkel it's not spamming. i wrote it under each guy having a problem so they get notification. And it does address the problem. You need 5 quakes in succession and you can't wait for too long in bringing him under threshold for chains, you need to bring boss under required percentage as soon as you get 5th mob.

Man, the timing just flat out sucks with this; we are talking nano-seconds here. I have five adds up, they are all on me, I made sure he got in 5 hits in a row with Quake to limit delay, I use lightning fast reflexes, as soon as I see that last healtbar pop up i insta-bring boss below trigger... and STILL for some unknown reason I always manage to miss the window. I have never seen any of the adds despawn when I am that close, I just assume they despawn at the exact moment when he does the Skullcracker.

No wait.. apparently, I had missed that you only get the achievment after the boss is dead.. so I have probably met the requirements several times over.... oh well .... i did it!! :D finally! ^^

If you do this on a monk, you can put the black ox statue down so the boss and adds will have aggro on that the whole fight. then you just gotta sit and wait for the quakes. Its a talent so if you're mistweaver, go in as a different spec. i did it on windwalker but brewmaster also has it.

I cant do it. Im lv120, no gear, as soon as 2 elementals are up, one of their autohits takes my 100% hit from sitting, making quake miss. Its impossible and very frustrating

I’ve spent hours upon hours trying this. It simply doesn’t work. I sit every time, I even started spamming it instead of timing it bc I was fed up. Still does not work. He gets maybe 3 or 4 if I’m lucky. Once I got 9 (4 on second round)
