My wife & I have played this twice, a 2-player then 5-player game, & it was a ton of fun!! We've played thru 5 other types of pandemic games, like all 3 legacies, & this one is highly recommended.

This isn't out until November? No wonder I hadn't heard anything about it yet. Game looks like fun; combat is basically rolling viking dice, love it. Very much reminds me of Horrified as well.

I feel like if you're characters are in the same space in Ice Crown with the LK, you should have to engage the LK, not kill ghouls near him. Haha

I pre ordered this board game the day it become available to pre order, a little salty im just now finding out there was a promo character. Trying to find it online the cheapest one is 70$, more expensive than the whole board game itself. What promo did I miss to get one? (brann)

Were they not increasing the despair track like they're supposed to? I thought it goes up every time an abomination is put on the board.

Not every time. The manual says that when you draw a "Scourge rises" card, you advance the scourge marker, put an abomination, ghouls until there are 3, move the lich king and then do the card shuffle thing. However, even if you put an abomination, the despair track doesn't advance. Just an abomination spawned due to an outbreak will advance the despair meter. They did do a few mistakes, tho. I.e: they didn't move the abomination after the first turn.

Abominations can't enter the citadel.

Well.. When the 3 quests are completed both heroes and abominations can enter the citadel. Furthermore, if the hero Varian is in play. With his whirlwind ability he can even pull 3 adjacent ghouls into the citadel.

This game is cool, looks cool but it's still pandamic, with an insane price tag. This will be a skip for me.
