I am actually enjoying the Perth over the London for sure, took some getting used to but pulled a 98k dp golden channel match in it.

Mid Tier Battles. Yah we do some incredibly bone headed things. Myself included. Like getting into gunfights when we are way over matched. Focusing on what's right in our sights while that pesky enemy destroyer boldly sails up and torpedoes our arse. Face it. There are players who get to Tier 8 and higher on their skill. And others who just buy their way in. If I'm not good enough yo be in anything above 6 I'm sure going to pay to be embarrassed. Plus when you are used to Blitz points being in the 20 to 30 range losing a battle or just plain getting your ass handed to you no matter the outcome and losing 100 or more points at a crack just sucks

Yesterday, I was out in the Richie on Golden Channel, camping the island, and was so focused on dodging BB shells that I didn't see the DD that snuck around the island until I got a full load of torps into the backside. Of course it didn't matter anymore, because the rest of my team had completely abandoned me in the cap at that point. Happens to all of us :)

I don’t know why but I like the Perth, maybe I’ve liked every one of the few Aussies I’ve met & her history as a brave ship/crew. Only one game thus far & I quickly got blotted out by a bb. Her gun dispersion seems decent & I do like the rear torpedo arcs. Do you plan to get her on your personal account?

Not really planning on spending the money on personal. I've got a fair few excellent tier 6 cruisers, it's not really a gap I need to fill.

I've been watching the replay a couple of times to determine if I could have done anything differently. We might have been able to win if I stayed in the cap, and relied on the T to keep spotting the CV, and give fire support from range, but it's impossible to make that call in the battle - T might have died just as easily, CV went unspotted, and we'd have lost. But that one tick was just perfect.

I couldn't agree more about fuel smoke. It's only like 10 seconds and when you pop it people can quite easily manually track you to hit and then it's over by the time they've reloaded to hit you again! Bloody useless for such a squishy ship.

I like it for DDs, Hill and Cossack are beasts with it, running rampage. For cruisers, especially if it has a lag of 2 or 3 seconds, it's really more of a "broadside cover" when you need to turn, but I can't use it aggressively. Would have been nice if she had a full smoke like the Sirius, but I guess the commonwealth line needs to be distinct in some way.

De Grasse is an absolute monster. She's got what, 7% fire chance, with a 7-odd second reload. That's what I'm saying, there are some seriously good premiums in T6 - her, Makarov, Molotov, London...

I think the Perth is pretty cool being that it’s the first commonwealth ship in wows blitz, but I think I going to wait until next months pass. The road map said that a premium European ship is going to be in the pass. I know it will definitely be the viribus Unitis and I’m excited for her to come to blitz!
