I picked up Black Gascogne from the shipyard & love it! Another interesting add this month is Black New Orleans which getting the Sonar added makes it feel like a new ship! Sonar REALLY helps it!

I have the Alsace right now pretty close to the republique. I avg around 50k dmg in her shes not a horrible ship. You just have to watch out who your broadsiding. Sometimes if Im in a t10 battle I plant her behind a ship that can tank vermont, GK ect and just wear down the enemy team always sticking behind a friendly bb. She can take on a rushing dd with her good speed and mobility and her guns do hit hard.

I played it as a big cruiser before the buff and did fairly well in it. The addition of RR2 makes it soooooooo much better and is exactly what it needed

To me, the Alsace is a Richelieu with a rapid reload and a extra turret. That’s how I played her and it Suprisingly works

Everyone told me that and boy did that let me down so much. The armor just gives citadels at tier 9-10 and I feel its better as a super heavy cruiser but to each their own.

Na thx 😅 would always grind t9 in respawn or skip Had only a few fun ones like baltimore, neptune and such.. im drying out like a plant 😩 so hot here in munich we got 32C and goes to 35 this week, and thats cold compared to other areas during this summer

Suggested WG to buff Alsace since 2020, and they decided to accept in this May, 2 years of delay is painful

Alsace, umm...Slai, she's (still) nowhere near enjoyable. Having the RR doesn't solve the problem of her weak armour, horrible range and dispersion. It just means you have more crap to throw at the wall so that more of it is going to stick. And please, kite away in an Alsace.

I play her like a super heavy cruiser so it works quite well. The RR helps with output on damage so well now and that was one of my main issues with the ship when I played it. Gas and Rep don't have much armor. We will have to agree to disagree
