She seems to be a pretty good cruiser! I believe she was the first of the M-class cruisers that were being built for Germany until they were cancelled. That’s probably why Wargaming called her München because of the designation “M”. When compared to their adversaries counterparts they pretty much fall between the Leander and Fiji/Edinburgh class cruisers in terms of their designs and layout. Also regarding the spahkreuzer’s those are more along the lines of oversized destroyers that haven’t been added to blitz yet. On PC they seem to have a pretty interesting play style. They are basically light cruisers without citadels.

This cruiser is one of the worst HE boats which you don’t want against destroyer defense, it’s garbage. Even the Leningrad has better HE with its wimpy guns.

@@tropicthndr This ship isn’t an HE spammer. Much much like her predecessor Nürnberg her AP DPM is what makes her shine. The Germans in general are much better with their powerful AP.

Well done. Fun battles to watch & hear your narration. We raise stein of bier (correct spelling? It’s been 50 years since my last German class.) to Terry for his play & his analysis! On a separate note, I’m baffled by the short range of both German & Soviet torpedoes. This is surprising given the historically high quality of German engineering & Soviet/Russian skill at “borrowing” the technology of other nations. Have you seen anything in your research that discusses why they didn’t prioritize developing longer range torpedoes?

At 14:03 you say something about “WASD Hacks” - I wasn’t sure what you were talking about? Any way you could clarify… BTW… This ships is actually very good. The guns are insanely accurate and surface detection is low enough that by the time DD’s see you, it’s to late - you’ve got them

Sorry for the lingo ;) WASD are common keys on PC to control your character / ship / whatever. W for forward, A for left etc. So when I'm saying "WASD hacks", I'm sarcastic about players not having mastered the advanced technique of actually steering their ship, and just sail in a straight line at constant speed.

Would you mind including the non-historical skins on your review please? More than not these skins include different bonuses than the historical ones just like Pommern amd her anime skin that gave her the regular battleship bonuses unlike the historical ones that gave her bonuses to her torpedoes.

Disappointed in my hometowns ship.. gamble event and mysore hp pool, less armor! Only 8 guns.. need reichsschwert camo for torp range, aa joke.. 8sec turn.. uff nothing good so far.. schors or how its spelled is fire slinger long range.. cant compare to ap cruisers style imo, but t7+ its not easy to use torps on cruiser.. so what we left with? A shame.. b leander or huanghe got same awkward gun layout, but they got torps and smoke..

She's difficult to play. Nürnberg works because she's T6, but this one gets into T8 games. She's not super effective as an HE spammer, what she shines in is DD hunting. The problem is, there are other ships at tier that can do this, while also being effective in other roles, like Shchors. I like the variety for the German line, but definitely a challenge to play.

@@FunandGameswithTerry im mad cause its gamble event.. i‘d try it out.. mysore i got 44k avg 7/7 wins and 20kills .. i would also say its not good.. but the pass was 5€ 😂 This ship want to be german cruiser but fails to shine in its role.. aa on german ship 🙈 Its like sirius, meant to have aa but fails at it.. huanghe is so much better T6 cruiser is fun 😂 but t7++ you need to know what your doing and have the right ship .. this is not worth a gamble or common t7 prices
