I did it once in a Fuso. Blind fire into a smoke and citadel a Fiji on a first volley. I just aimed at the source of the shell's tracer. I'm sure I got reported for it. I think it's due to a combination of 12 guns, a considerable spread and a static target.

Thanks for the review. Cleveland was a bit tanky for a Tier VI cruiser, but give it some gimmicks and shift it to Tier VIII? So. . . a big slow destroyer with no smoke. And the arc of the shells. . . Just like the post-nerf Cleveland, anything fired in the last two minutes of the game won't land until the next game. But valuable information. Those without IFHE need not apply.

By itself, Dallas is not a bad ship, but I am annoyed that I have to give up a great ship for an average ship. Plus the Tier 8 Cleveland (though it has lots of tools and a couple of buffs) is a ship that has a high skill ceiling if you want to play it well. I am doubly pi$$ed TBH.

It’s RT-TT for Walkers from SW. And agree, totally agree even, since Disney owe SW franchise, they ruined everything unfortunately... looked so much credible and immersive in both 2 first trilogies. I advise u the both animated series THE CLONE WARS and SW REBELS instead, for me it’s the last content coherent with original from George Lucas. But last Trilogy is just BS. That has ruined big part of my old (born in 1980) fanboy SW addiction since I am young. Glad u say it too, glad I am not the only one feeling it. 😭 Hard to debate with youths about SW, they seems to enjoy it, despite poor actors play, poor scenario, poor costumes and acceptable special effects (not more)... but it seems in old generation it’s more balanced, but still no chance Disney does it better for minority of dissapointed fans... Need to live with I guess 😩

Kinda amusing that the Light Cruiser designation only means that the guns are 152mm, it doesn't mean that they have no armor compared to Heavy Cruisers... though WG hasn't managed to figure it out it seems?

Also...have you tried the operation in the PTS Cherry Blossom? Apparently no one but Jingles and whoever was with him can complete the damn thing...and made it even worse...and all the regular Operations in the game are nearly impossible to do. Hell, they even jack up the credits lost if you lose. On the Ultimate Frontier Op, if you lose, the service cost alone was 69k! but yet if I win, the service cost was like...23k. even if it was a 1 tier difference, there's no way in hell that there is THAT huge of a gap in service cost of a ship, especially if you lose in Random battle

I managed to complete Cherry Blossom a couple of times (in a Baltimore and Chapayev) but it's a bitch to do. I don't think it'll make it to the live server in it's current form - that pair of Myokos at the start concentrate their fire on the landing force do too much damage too quickly.

Why did Wargaming decide to name this ship Dallas? There was a ship named Dallas that served from 1920-1945, but it was a Clemson Class Destroyer named after Alexander J. Dallas. Now they did change the name of the ship slightly in 1945 from Dallas to Alexander Dallas to free the name for a Cruiser but that proposed "Dallas" was supposed to be a Des Moines class heavy Cruiser that was never completed. ,

Flambass USN CLs are pure support ships help out in early to midgame with their consumables and stay out of sight -not at back of map just behind cover - until late game where their daka-daka becomes stronger I think.

the Dallas is one of the most pathetic ships on the american side... 1 hit and your on fire, 2nd hit is a critical and 3/4 of your health is gone, and the 3rd hit does you in... EVERY SINGLE TIME. Sad you have to play this ship to get to the cleveland

That happens A LOT latley that i get hit in smoke, no matter which tier or which ship - its annoying and shouldnt be possible (at least not THIS consistent). Not only do we have tons of radar, if you are not radared you get slapped in smoke as well... WG needs to act and make dispersion fired on smoke like +1000% or something.

I dont see this as a problem. The smoke was meant to be used for retreating but not offensive. If you are attacking the others, they should be also able to fight back, regard less of they can see you or not. Actually, when you are firing in the smoke, you are giving your position, especially when you remains stationary. In this case, most of experienced players can take you out without much difficulties. I also got shot or even devasted in the smoke when firing, but I have no problem with it. It is my mistake to be shot in this situation, not the fault of the enemy of WG.
