I think survivability is roughly based on tonnage of the ships. Heavier ships get more HP so to speak.

I'm really excited for this line. These ships seem forgiving and fun at lower tiers and at higher tiers become a sharp challenge to adjust your playstyle to a stealthy, hit-and-run pop-them-on-the-nose-and-hide type of ships. I'm planning on having conqueror on day 1, up and at 'em Lesta and Wargaming! Before my Hearts of Oak record wears out!

I would like to point out the existence of a 1000' design that could take a greater beating than pretty much any other battleship in the game. It's in a book by David K. Brown, the Deputy Chief Naval Architect of the Royal Navy. Something that Wargaming could easily have accessed.

Large Lion actually, she would of had a standard displacement of 85,000 tons and a deep displacement of 97,000. Her guns would have been 3x3 16" but they would of been the ones with the 20 second reload. Her belt would have been 18" thick and her deck 9"

Nick Graham HMS is for British ships. Yamato was a Japanese ship so "IJN" and USS is American ships so Montana is "USS"

Carson Jones that and the 419s are more reliable (more guns), have higher penetration and can set fires more effectively (due to the amount on guns). Atm there is no reason to use the 457s

i realy have to tell, if u play often enough to be a good player, this game will be realy "quick" being boring. Because if u have nearly all ship u like to play u cant see them after so many games. I got bored out of this, because i have the ships i wanted and than i had no expectations, because i have all i wanted.. There has to be much quicker more new ships and PLEASE release more than 1 tech-tree,. Sorry for my bad english but i hope you understand my point.

dont want to, i am not interested in destroyer, but have them all over T5. As i said, if they release 2 3 techtrees every 6 months it would be much better. The main reason for this is, that the swarm of one type of ship wont be that big .

Releasing more ships is easier said than done. Can you even imagine how detailed they are doing everything? Take a close look at the ships, inform yourself about how the armor system works etc and then ask again.

Sucks these are all going to be prems Dreadnaught - really sly of you wg to put a historically famous bb to be prem - cant it just be in main line and rival nassau (nassau being the ship that was historically built to counter dreadnaught in WW1)? Nelson. - WG put it as a prem cause its famous (can't you just put Rodney as prem?) at least it costs free xp i guess. Vangaurd - Yeah probably going to be a prem at T8 as well with godlike 356mm armour - as it is the last BB to have been completed after ww2 (1946). Maybe it will have Radar and Def aa for gimmick - tbh though after reading it on wiki from main armament to secondaries to aa - this ship was Radar fire control optimised.

Nope. They said HMS Vanguard was the only battleship built after WW2. which means she was laid down, launched and commissioned after 1944. While Jean Bart, on the other hand, was built in 1940, and even fought in the war (even if she wasn't completed)

Nope : Jean Bart : laid down december 1936, launched march 1940, took part in the battle of Casablanca in november 1942 (uncompleted), officially entered in service in 1955. Vanguard : laid down october 1941, launched november 1944, comissioned may 1946. Still, my point stands : Jean Bart was built BEFORE Vanguard, thus making the Vanguard the last battleship to be built.

simbai t Well the Grober Kurfurst is a pretty historically inaccurate design itself. Germany never planned for the h40 battleship design to have 4 triple gun turrets, but 4 double gun turrets. Also in game, GK has the same number of guns as Montana, but at a much bigger caliber. WG balances this out by making The GK guns inaccurate so to make it a more fair fight. So if WG was to go with my idea for the Conqueror's gun layout, they'd just have to make some little tweaks on the guns performance to make it a fair fight, and if that's not enough, just decrease the gun caliber a little more.
