Not exactly excellent DD play. he only dodged the DD's torp by sheer luck and not skill, even worse, he beached himself while fighting. 0 situation awereness. Next he spent the MAJORITY of the battle trying to sink a german cruiser of all things and kept launching torps in the most stupid ways possible. Just look at the aim indicator when he is torping and pay attention where he is actually launching his torps. NONE of his torp launches were actually good predictions or were on point. He even managed to miss STATIONARY targets TWICE... excellent play my ass.

i know we all like to be a backseat driver in retrospect, but I'm mainly a BB player & had that been me, I would've been helping those cruisers hunt down the rogue DD - he was the priority, not getting into the cap. too many ppl prioritize getting into the enemy cap in those 1 v 1 cap battles & forget the true objective of every battle: killing all the enemy. But either way, that battle was not lost by you 3 on your flank. Your teammates on the other flank lost the battle with that lemming-train. They lemminged, had the power-fire advantage, & lost anyway. As soon as I saw that lemmingtrain, I knew it was going to go bad for your team.

In defense of the Scharnhorst, I don't think it would have mattered. The Scharnhorst already knew he was spotted by something, perhaps correctly assumed it was a destroyer, and continued moving knowing that he had nothing left to lose in his position and opted to take someone out with him. It was either stay there and get torpedoed to hell and back (and get yelled at by everyone on his team for playing Pokemon with FuzzyLollipop's torpedoes), go back (and get yelled at by everyone on his team for wasting time and being a coward, despite it being the best option tactically and strategically), or sail forwards straight into enemy gunfire and get sunk by the majority of FuzzyLollipop's team (and get yelled at by everyone on his team for sailing into a crossfire.)

Anyone who says this was the CVs mistake has never played the Serov or any Russian CV not named Naughtimov. The whole point of Russian CV play is to farm large ships. You don't give your team an advantage with a Serov by spotting DDs...you give your team the advantage by killing or pushing around the enemy big ships.

It's a light DD hunter. It has no smoke, only one torpedo launcher and only three twin gun mounts. That does not include the one 3" secondary/AA gun but the ship gets a heal. The torpedoes have a decent range and reload fairly quickly but it is not a ship to Yolo or try to gun down a full health BB or cruiser. But it is the ship to have if you have a mission to get secondary hits in a DD, LOL.

Really enjoy. Love the Swedish DD line, but it's definatley a "mixed bag." I have a higher win rate in these than any other DD line, mostly from constant harrassment for area denial. Yet, won a game last week with Oster, running Jersey, activing Torp reload twice. 19 torp hits, killing only one ship, 140K. In a Shima, that would have sunk half the opposing team.

I think Jingles' point was he only needed to make *one flight* over the DD to spot him and that would have been enough to evaporate the lollipop, given how close he was and in OPEN water. Though I quit WoWS, because of many reasons including, but not limited to, WG's endless BS, I do still love your videos. I mostly enjoy those from NA servers. Not because they're necessarily any better than say EU or RU server replays, but the usernames are generally better. And though this video is probably a bad example with the "cheat fuck"-guy, the chat is usually much more friendly and good-spirited - even towards oponents, compared to EU server, which is generally more toxic than early xBox community - which every gamer can attest to was the peak of toxicity at a point. Keep it up Jingles!

Honestly I don't believe anymore that Jingles actually knows how to play WoWs after he (like many others in this comment section) praises Fuzzy's gameplay. Fuzzy made so many mistakes, showed over and over again that he can't do two or more things at once and absolutly does not know how to position himself on the map or how to break away from an enemy cruiser. Yes he won and yes, he hit a few torps, but that's all. From all he showed, I bet that he's a sub 50% w/r player who got a bit lucky in this match... Besides that, the Öland is one of my favorite DDs and if you spec and play it right, it is a powerful HE-minigun, untouchable for most CVs and very good vs other DDs at medium range. The torps are mainly good for distraction, killing DDs in smoke and for flooding (which BBs will repair and then, after 15s you start using your guns, set one or two fires and go dark again before they can swing their guns around).

This was... Honestly terrible Destroyer play. He got lucky a lot more than he did anything well. There's no point in keeping a Hipper of all things spotted. Focus the bigger threat to your team. You're a Destroyer, you can escape a Hipper easily considering its hydro is only what, 5km? I can dance around that all day long in an Oland, and I haven't even played the game in a year! He also did himself no favors spreading his torpedoes out like it was candy at a parade.

Definitely wasn’t terrible, I will give him that much, but it wasn’t great. I do absolutely agree with the torpedo salvos and his... Ehm, judgement of launching torps ahead of torpedoes that are already out.

Maybe there is a secret CV rule put out by WG that CVs are not allowed to focus DDs so that WG does not have to try and fix the balance, no success so far. And WG is too busy trying to hammer a round SS peg into a square game hole. The Red CV and Shinyhorse lost that game.

His target selection, his targeting (as in where he is launching torps), the way he spread them out, everything from start to finish was trash. He even managed to almost completely miss stationary targets TWICE. You have to be a special type of trash to manage that in a DD in a perfect flanking position...

In Blitz what I love doing is going at capitol ships in my DD and sinking or taking a lot of their HPs and they didn’t even know I was there. Torpedos just come out of the blue on em. Been yelled at so many times in chat that I’m a cheater.

Just saying that the mont could be an AA build. That thing can delete squadrons if you set it up for it.
