you dont mention one of the greatest advantages in this new patch to this line in particular. If there is no CV in the game, you can farm spotting damage. I can see at 17:45 that while you only have about 40k damage done, you have 95k spotting, putting your total at 135k combined. Spotting is now an immensely rewarded metric.

Just a fair warning- Nebraska is, by far, one of the worst high tier ships in the game in my opinion; the guns are so unreliable as to be nearly useless. My shining example of this is when I missed 4-5 salvos on a non moving, fully broadside Prinz Eungen at 10km. Every single shell went either over or under, it was infuriating! The Delaware is slightly better than Nebraska, but the gun accuracy is still annoying at best

For coop/operations build, i recommend dropping concealment expert and getting Focus Fire Training (better AA and faster aircraft, anti-submarine reload) and enhanced Gun Feeder for 60% faster shell types switching. Altho with how dumb bots are, you might as well grab Long-Range Secondary Battery Shells lmao. The concealment module remains mandatory - It buffs both ship AND aircraft concealment.

Any ship you see with the twin 76mm mounts like this is a postwar configuration. The Navy wanted a gun firing the smallest shell that could fit a proximity fuse and take out an attacking plane with one hit. As a result the Quad 40 mounts were replaced with twin 76mm mounts. In reality most of the 20mm should be gone as well since they are only good for making a pilot flinch at the last second.

Same for my home state of Illinois. Was being built as a Montana class with donations from Illinois, but was canceled partially built. WG has it as Iowa hull with 8 inch guns. So sad

I use quite a different commander build: You are not usually gonna be pushing caps or flanks due to the massive superstructure that is gonna cause damage. At full conceal, it disappears at 13.2kms. So I build into the plane reload (focus fire training): reduces plane reload time. The other 3 pt skill I take is BoS, but you can take adrenaline rush if you are keen. Also correction: Adrenaline rush does not apply to plane regeneration, it only applies to asw airstrikes.

I really dont think their gonna nerf it that hard, I really dont. The only thing I can actually see them nerfing would be the fire chance of the bombers. Its a fire machine. If someone DC's the bomber fire, you can pretty much light them up again with an HE Salvo. I played it free access and I can tell you right now, there were MANY occasions where I would hit a target with an HE Salvo start a fire, launch planes set another fire, and then hit em again another HE Salvo and start another fire. Even with the fire extinguishing skill thats 3 fires in about 1 minute. I think its a good shake up to the game but they need to limit these things to one per team per match.

Absolutely hilarious 7 v 7 brawl with ducks that actually really helps progress with the Battle Pass. My ships will get a rest and my ducks will battle!

The thing about a design like this is that it would likely do neither job well. As a carrier, its small flight deck and hangar means you're severely limited in the size of an airwing you can carry and operate. I imagine there would be a lot of mishaps or issues with a flight deck that small. What if a plane doesn't have enough speed when taking off and crashes onto on the the gun turrets? As a battleship you now have to bring what is essentially a massive target into potential firing range of another warship. Surface action might see the ship itself survive, but render all the aircraft facilities severely damaged and unusable. All that weight up high with the flight deck, hangar, and superstructure would be a tall order to balance and likely bring stability issues, making this ship an awful gun platform. The U.S. Navy already learned from various fleet exercises with Lexington and Saratoga that bringing an aircraft carrier with guns into range was a reckless endangerment of the carrier and such a task was better suited to an actual dedicated surface warship, as such they were stripped of their 8" battery and replaced with 5" dual purpose secondaries. Many other early carriers were given similar treatment (Kaga and Akagi were also originally built with 8" secondaries that were removed in their '30s refits). If you want a battleship and a carrier, build one of each, not both at the same time.

So in Summery, they are US BBs, with a Flight Deck, which along with its "standard" heal gives its worse survivability in exchange for being able to Launch a Squadron of HE Bombers that Could use a Nerf to their Accuracy. Unfortunately Sea Lord, WG only seems to know how to do one thing anymore and that is PUMP OUT NEW CONTENT, MORE AND MORE SHIPS! Hybrid ships and "ship skills" are just the latest Toys for them to Sell and pump out. I have no doubt in my mind that will Soon become Submarines, hell we already have a STEEL Submarine. My Condolences to your state and the other states for being bearing the Imagine of these ABOMINATIONS!

This ships hull with that huge flight deck doesn't fit concept of battleship beauty. But are there subs or CVs beautiful? I don't think so, their design made mainly for their purpose. To be little bit fair for hybrid battleships..We already got BBs with hydro, torps, ridiculous speed and speed boosters, reload booster, nasty secondaries, icebreakers and fast damage cons, fast cooldown heals or superheals, extremely big caliber guns or large number of barrels, cruiser caliber or premium ones with radar. On cruiser side of things it is also very interesting. Finally DDs with unique deep water torps or torpedo reload boosters which cut reload more than 10times. Next gen machinery. Or 139mm gun reload booster making French crew superman. Did I forget jumping bombs or carpet bombs? Air dropped mines to come. This game becomes more fantasy than historical.

Disappointing how whiny you are about the Louisiana not being a permanent camo for the montana when its a pretty cool unique boat and at least a tier X. It shoots over the shoulder pretty well, the planes can spot for you which most BBs cant do and the planes can fight DDs pretty well. You can get all the secondaries shooting things on the left side which is quirky.
