World of Warships - Quick Cut: Tier X Premium Japanese Cruiser Yoshino (Ranked Gameplay)

Tier X Premium Japanese cruiser Yoshino is really, really good at one thing: burning down opposing battleships. Is that enough to make her a decent pick in ranked, though? It's a tough call. Battleships are generally over-represented in smaller formats, so going into a game with a plan of how to blow them up isn't necessarily a bad idea. It turns out, though, that despite how soft she is Yoshino can actually brawl in limited situations (as demonstrated here on Northern Lights).

I'm at 230k+ on my coal, so it's time to start making a decision. Likely choice would be a cruiser, but . . . . a BB hmmmm. - While T9 and it's improved economic bonuses sounds good, neither Agir and Carnot sing to me. - Pommern hmmmmmm well, my Tirpitz captain would be a perfect fit. Iwami seems good but I only have a 10pt captain. - T10 seems to be the better choice . . . Brisbane or Salem hmmmm seem a little squishy, although the Bris has a lot of torps. Moskva, Napoli, Yoshino, each has a different play-style. So, I'm spending the early afternoon of my Saturday watching your vids on that group.

Many people dump on Yoshino. I like her. She's like Shimakaze but with better guns. 😂
