Coop - You should do a video that shows us how you prepare for a wade trip. What tackle system and boxes you use, when, and how you decide lure selection, what gear you use while fishing (pliers, snips, the belt, waders and boots you like (Barts Bay Armor, I’m sure), socks, stringer set up and the like.

i agree. I think he has some equipment videos in his archive. I don’t think those videos were expressly meant as tutorials but, they pretty much end up like that haha, cuz he goes through a bunch of his equipment. You’d have to search his channel archive it’s a video from maybe 2, 3 years ago

If you keep any, put them in a cooler and put a bag of ice on top of them. Any stringer will attract sharks.
@ChewingToons8 ай бұрын
@@JamesJones-cx5pk If youre wading you dont normally have a boat tied to you so you travel light. Me and the wife was wading fishing over City Dyke. both of us had stringers tied to us. I heard her shout and turned round to see her being pulled thru the water. It wasnt by a shark it was a dolphin grabbed a redfish. Luckily it was pulled off the stringer eventually but those dolphins are just as much a nuisance than Mr Toothy.

Dude the canopy thing is AWESOME. Anyone who sees you is likely a fisherman too and they'd likely see the insane value in that on long trips. One of the lest fun fishing trips I've ever been on was a long shoreline with no shade. This literally could have saved that fishing trip

Great video! As for the personal canopy, well, between white sun block smeared all over us and big floppy fishing hats, to full face masks, the personal canopy fits right in! It's all about the comfort and protection! Not the looks! I have fished the King Ranch shore line many times and know how great the fishing is! I have to admit though, I haven't waded like you did in this video. Good job! Also, you mentioned that the new 17" limit made a 15" trout look like a dink. I'm confused. I thought that the speckled trout minimum limit was still 15" with a max of 20", now. New slot limit and bag limit. Can someone verify? Thanks again for the great video!.
