(World Record) Persona 5 Royal Speedrun - Hard, True Ending in 11:57:07 (No DLC) (No Turbo)

Persona 5 Royal Remastered Speedrun, done on PS5. Console WR as of 28/12/22.
No Turbo Controller was used. (Turbo saves 5+ mins this run if used right)
Run does not permit the use of DLC (Izanagi No Okami and all that other garbage)
Pretty terrible run. Lost about 6 minutes total. Goal time for this platform is 11:50-51, which would be an extremely good run and very tough to beat without new skips.
Time losses:
- Old Duke's Coat
- 17 Str Shiki-Ouji (AGAIN)
- Horrible Sui-ki/ Kin Ki (Makoto Frozen in both lmao and I brainfarted)
- Worst Mementos Yen I've ever gotten (17,000k lmao, a single Turquoise)
- 1 Fusion Accident
- Failed Okumura's Initial OOB Clip, but managed to recover it.
- Wasted 2nd Hypno Mist in 2nd Airvault section in Okumuras.
- Couldn't do either Rat Maze Skip (no Mist for 1st, and failed 2nd)
- A fair bit of general bad luck, such as Byakhee using Stagnant Air instead of Bloodbath.

Probably will for Persona 6 whenever that drops (unless it's like 5 years from now lol). I think I'm about done with P5 unless this time or my PS4 time gets beaten, as this route is about as optimal as you can get without RNG manipulation or other large sequence breaks. Which aren't known of currently.

Just finished the game and im 150 hours in true ending and man seeing 12 hours got me pretty shocked

A lot of the playtime is reading, actually. I'd say about half of the entire game, it's rather text-heavy. The other one fourth is trying out new different personas, farming, running around the map, doing side quests, etc. All the stuff you can skip if you really know what you're doing and only intersted in completing the game. I think that anyone who skips all the text and side activites can complete the game in 30 hours or so. Speedrunning is harder, obviously, plus you're likely to be underleveled.

I'm looking at all these comments of people amazed that you were moving so quickly through everything meanwhile I'm wondering how you managed to keep your legs from falling asleep while pulling a 12 hour speedrun, also the focus and patience to do a 12 hour speedrun is pretty incredible to, that's a day and a half of overtime, like where do you find the patience? Loved watching this! but I'd love to see a commentary version (even for this same run) that explains a lot of the choices and thought process behind what you do and how you approached most situations. Especially every time you go down to Mementos. Edit: Finished the whole thing finally and I'm honestly so confused how you pulled off the Maruki fight at the end. This is really cool to see. This game led me me to becoming a professional artist which was otherwise unexpected. Im curious what you were able to take away from the game?
