Just FYI also... He doesn't "land on a glitched surface" The physics engine if this game is a bit scuffed with slopes, you can pretty much negate all fall damage if you land on a good slope correctly.

A lot of games feature this but it's not necessarily intended. Obviously there's supposed to be fall damage but basically because you're able to "exploit" the feature to slide on a slope, you're able to jump from high places unhurt; not every angle works and you'll die, sometimes you have to hit those particular spots on a slope.

fun fact: there are 2 versions of this ending. 1st version showed you and timmy on a talk show. timmy turns into the same monster as the girl. you attack him. (presumably killing timmy) 2nd version: again, you and timmy are on the game show. timmy starts having a violent seizure as if hes about to turn. but doesnt. you hold him as he staves of a pamic attack. the ending was changed because you play as a grown up timmy in the sequal. hence the name "sons of the forrest". adleast thats part of the reason behind the name.
