I have been trading a month and Im at that nasty point where Im struggling to hold onto my profits :) A lot of the videos I watch of good traders, they all say it took them about 2 years to become consistently profitable. I just need more experience... time looking at charts. Im still brand new and its hard Im not gonna lie. I dont know how the market knows what Im thinking! I can watch a stock go up and down and it all makes sense so take up a position and instantly it starts to go the other way! My other issue is my account is tiny its $500 so I can only trade micro futures. I feel like such a failure lol.

Thanks for the video. A quick question. Rule number 5 says to sell stocks that are not moving up or acting sluggish. What about the consolidation period, during the bull flag you were showing in all the stocks he profited from, and that is taking longer than days? Wouldn't that mean you sell thinking it's being sluggish but then realize that it ran upwards after you sell?
@MikeSerTrader3 жыл бұрын
Good question. In a bull flag, prices shoot up with strength, consolidate for a bit and then break out of the consolidation area to the upside. If the price stays in the consolidation area for a longer period of time (lets say 2-3 mths) then the pattern will likely not work. The basis of a bull flag is strong move up then rest then strong move up.
