This is where I get stuck and I'm curious what others think. He, and many other experts, believe Biden had been successful in all of these areas, and that the economy has been improving. BUT, as he points to, the media/DNC do a very poor job of explaining this. So, it seems most of the country has no idea of the realities... Less purchasing power now is due to inflation which came from a once in a lifetime global pandemic that shut down the economy for two years and all the money printing that went on. That said, the USA has brought inflation down to 6%, the eighth lowest of the G20. A lot of the current high cost of goods is due to corporate greed more than due to inflation or ongoing supply chain issues.

BecuZe of a.) Price gouging by huge companies! b.) issues going on in other countries. Gas prices are going higher in September because the Saudis are going back on their deal to produce more starting September. Rice prices are also going up because India is having issues with labor. Wheat products like bread are going up this winter because of the war in Ukraine. Mayonnaise is going up because of the egg shortage this year trickling down to other products like mayonnaise! As you can see a lot of factors go into our economy!
