you can stop hardlocking at all after like 500 and still get all the cools

yeah, you don't really need to manlock (manual lock) too much after 500. i do it just because i can, but honestly just drop to a speed you're comfortable at and ramp up slowly. you shouldn't be playing faster than you can manage, it's impossible to maintain at the level TGM3 demands and it'll end up actually restricting u

I use world rule simply cuz I like the controls better.(I just started). I have been playing guideline for a while and thought this wouldn't be too hard but when the lock delay gets halved it's not easy.

How do you pass the promotional exam in this game?

play consistently at one grade and then the game will give you a promotional exam at some point to get the grade you're deserved for.

Once you've completed the game, how do you tell if you got GM or not?

before promotion to MM you can not get GM, only MM, one grade below GM after promotion to MM and before promotion to GM you can get Master M+ which will display as Master M but internally it's basically GM. You can't tell if it is GM or not with 100% accuracy without external tools. For promotional games it never tells you your exact grade, except if you beat/tied or failed to meet the grade it puts up for the exam After the promotion to GM, when you finish a game, it will give you the Grand Master grade if you got it.

@@Echo3A3B oh. the amount of points you need in the roll to get GM depends on the score you have as you enter the roll. if you enter with M9 - you need 6.0 grade points to get GM if you enter with M8 - you need 7.0 grade points to get GM if you enter with M7 - you need 8.0 grade points to get GM
