Also imagine it stuck underwater over something or inside ship and battery runs out...then what...no cable to manually pull up

It's a regular surveillance drone with a tether disconnect that wirelessly transmits from itself via basic optics to the tether. "NO MORE CABLES" in your title is extremely misleading. Also it will transmit data down to 6000m. It won't transmit data 6000m, it can just transmit and work at 6000m depth providing the wired tether is nearby The rest of the video is just PR for their "Wireless optical tech" which is just optical data transmission. Notice how the only actual footage is of roughly a meter or two underwater and the rest of the video is entirely CGI? The only real tech here is a cheap underwater drone, and showing of the Luma optical modems which are legit tech
