The salted caramel cream layer won't hinder the oxidation (browning) of the bananas. I know from recent experience. An acid like lemon juice or lime juice may help for whatever period of time. Thank you for this recipe. God bless you, too.

If you scoop out the center of banana with a small scoop, the banana’s won’t turn brown! Cut bananas in half then scoop both sides in middle (seeds) They have sm scoops at grocery store! Not the cookie scoop, the smaller one! My bananas never turn and I left in frig overnight!

The ONLY recipe I’ve seen that makes banana pudding the RIGHT WAY! I haven’t incorporated the caramel because my daughter doesn’t like it but everything else is good exactly how I do it! I know this is bomb! 💣

I made a pan of this for Father’s Day for just a few of my family members so it was only about 6 or 7 of us and when I say they absolutely DEVOURED this banana pudding!!! It was really so good and easy to make. I just went ahead and bought some caramel topping and it still did the trick. They were begging for some more but I only made one pan, but DEFINITELY making this for Fourth of July! Thanks for this delicious recipe!

I like to mix crushed pineapples in with the pudding and layer it with strawberries and blueberries instead of the bananas. I make it for parties and it’s always the first dessert gone with a few people walking around complaining that they didn’t get any.

I'm 100% cookie and pudding only...my current favorite is the mini (trust me, mini,) nutter butter peanut butter cookie coins with normal vanilla pudding. Everyone expects banana in every bite and finds the pleasant surprise of peanut butter....sooooo good! I subscribed because caramel is my favorite food group!

I'm late to the party but I had to comment. Every time we make banana pudding we also make a cookie pudding (same recipe but without bananas) for those that don't like bananas. We also make them with homemade vanilla custard (pudding). They're both delicious. Yours looks good. I've never tried banana pudding with caramel sauce and cream cheese.
