Enjoyed this video immensely. Have been keeping discus in a 5x1.5x2 (wxdxh in feet) tank. Have 2 Eheim 2217 plus a sump filter systems. Substrate is river sand with stones and 2 pieces of drift wood. Bought 12 fish 5 years ago at less than 2 inches and they've grown to 6 plus inches. I have 8 now. 1 breeding pair in the tank has laid eggs several times. No fry since others usually end up eating the eggs over few days. Not really keen to breed them since I have no space. Would love to visit Anilji and see his shop. Inspired!! Appreciate his honesty when he doesn't have exact knowledge and acknowledges it. Way to go!! Thank you Mayurji for yet another wonderful interaction.

As a discuss keeper for starters I would tell Best is Bare bottom tank and change 50 percent water weekly. Also don't overcrowd the tank.

Good to meet Anil bhai thru your video, felt good. He has told to consult someone when in doubt. I had a pair of guppy along with some tetras. I noticed (rather my granddaughter noticed) that the female was hiding behind the filter. She was looking a little blackish. I took a video and sent to the guy from whom I had bought. He said “nothing wrong”. By morning she was dead.

Sir, I still have some doubts, will be ever grateful if you answer please 1. 2 feet BB tank, can I put 6 fishes ? 2. Along with 2 Sponge Filters , what filter is the best Top filter or External Hang On filter ( water comes like fountain ). 3. Except the sponge filter, if I install another filter , should it be turned on 24x7 ?...I am worried over the flow and circulation of water that might make the fishes tired if it is on for 24 hours
