Great video! The funny thing is, I am from India, and was not aware of the existence of this particular pencil (Apsara Absolute) till I saw this video. Just bought a box last year! We can find them in just about any stationery shop!!

Just received some of these last month... I wish they were easier to get in the US; for me, they are up there in the 'scary good given price' category such as the General's Cedar and Semi-Hex No. 1...

They are really great pencils. I enjoy the Apsara brand very much and have them in my "favorite" category along with the 2014 Staedtler Norica and all the Blackwings (for writing purposes). The price is right also. Someone commented that in the US Walmart sells the Apsara rebranded as Casemate. I'll be testing this out shortly in another video once I get these at Walmart.

I just buy them online. Google. Often it's Amazon.

RixCanDoit The reason why the tip broke is because you sharpened it to much, but I agree that the sharpener it comes with is not as good as the platinum's

Wish I had enough money to buy these pencils like the palomino and these apsara especially since I can't buy them locally

that sharpener is good you were continuesly sharping so it broke 2 times
@RixCanDoit8 жыл бұрын
It's okay. The sharpener I got from the Platinum is much better as it has a STOP and prevents over sharpening. I don't like to work hard at sharpening as I want to get back to my writing or drawing. So if I have to pay attention to how long I'm sharpening, it falls into my "not as cool" pile of sharpeners.

That's funny in the comments. I mean I am from India And they are pretty cheap here I think the manufacturer is in india You can get a box of platinum one in a dollar.

Yes, I know. We have to pay more. But then, you know you have to pay more for pencils outside of India, like the Staedtler's and Mitsubishi's. So I guess it all pans out.
@Crazytesseract4 жыл бұрын
@@RixCanDoit Yes, staedtlers are hellishly expensive. And mitsubishi 9800 HBs are no longer available from the Uni-ball India website. Good I got them only for Rs 180 ($ 2.50) a dozen, while they were there. Have your ever paid that little in USA for Mitsubishi?
