I just bought an anamorphic lens for S-24 Ultra. The quality of the lens looks great, but did not like how it connected with the case. difficult to connect, even if you connect, it is unstable and wobbles the lens, if you put a filter or move. when it is on the tripod, may be ok. The Beyonnet system is garbage. in the camera, there is a button that stops the lens to come back or move. this one moves easily. Why are they not made with thread-like lenses and they are heavy and connected on a thin case.

Let us be clear about something there is no 1.0 version on our website anymore; they are not even listed on the website; also, the difference between 1.0 & 2.0 is initially when freewell launched smartphone lenses, we released only 1 lens that was anamorphic 1.55 so we call that as 1.0 now in 2.0 we have released an update of 1.55 that's the reason it becomes 2.0 & other options like 1.33, wide, fisheye long range so which means the lens you have of 1.33 cannot be 1.0 as it was only released in 2.0 hope this is clearly if you need more clarity you can reach us via email on [e-mail] our team will be happy to take care of you.

Yes, but I think for anamorphic lenses there isn't anything except Filmic, which is now subscription based and overpriced - many are abandoning this platform now, and will most likely be their downfall. Hopefully a clever person will make up either a free, or single purchase app for Android to use anamorphic....the only reason I am not purchasing one yet.

Hey, I'm here to clarify your doubt. A. Yes, there are different filters for the case and filters for the lens. The case filter is designed to work on all the 3 camera. On the other hand, lens filters are designed to used only on the lens. B. It's important to note that you should not stack multiple filters on top of each other. Stacking filters can potentially cause vignetting, loss of image quality, and other unwanted effects. It's best to use one filter at a time to ensure optimal results. I just received the 1.55x anamorphic lens 2.0, first thing I noticed was that it fits on the S23U case rather loosely (compared to the CPL filter.. It's not snug, you can wobble it around a bit) and that it seems to add absolutely terrible vignetting to the left/right sides of the video that changes in intensity a lot while moving the phone sideways. The lens being quite loose might be related to that.. Is this normal?

👎👎👎👎👎👎I bought the Freewell Sherpa case , ND filters and polariser. I was happy with them. But the lenses are a big disappointment. I bought the Macro lens from the Sherpa series.I've just received it. It comes in a cheap and very badly designed case. I opened the case and the lens is right there, with no lens cap so I had to squeeze the bottom of the case so I could remove the lens without touching and smudging it ! Hey, Freewell, is that a joke? Fine, the shape of the macro is not good for lens caps but couldn't they have been more innovative ? Maybe a lens caps with height enough to cover the macro lens? Or at least a better case and lens cap for the rear? P.S. I 've just found out that the new Beastgrip macro lens ships WITH FRONT AND REAR LENS CAPS .That is the lens I will buy and keep. It would be very easy to touch the lens by accident or, worst, touch the lens with the teeth of the zipper of the case . The Sherpa ND filters come in a nice hard case and have a lens cap. What was Freewell thinking? THIS IS THE END OF THE SHERPA LINE AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED. I am not interested anymore and will try to return the Freewell Sherpa filters and the case I have. I will not even test the macro. What for? I will not keep a lens that has no real protection and ships in such a cheap, poorly designed case. I just hope I will be able to send the Freewell Sherpa filters back to Amazon for a full refund despite having bought them months ago. Otherwise I will have to try to sell them and that will be very difficult and I will lose a lot of money.

All right. if the Freewell lenses ever ship with lens caps then I will try the tele lens (not available yet) and will keep my Sherpa filters for a while. I posted a very enthusiastic comment about Freewell in another review. It makes me sad that things didn't turn out as I was expecting. It gives me no satisfaction to be so critical and so hard but it's important to have a balance as I noticed that most , if not all reviewers who received free kits of lenses are too soft in their critics. It's not only about Freewell. Shiftcam has also released a kit of lenses without lens caps. I wrote an even harder critic about those kits and their reviewers. People work hard, people have dreams. Young people want to make films but have no money , no know-how. They come here, have little experience and are misled by reviewers that they think they can trust because those reviewers have 100 thousand or so subscribers. Many times those inexperienced people are responsible for letting. themselves to be misled Beastgrip, Moment, Sandmarc, Moondog labs and Reeflex ship lenses with lens caps. They are the only manufacturers worth considering at this time. I do hope Freewell will be part of that list not too far in the future. Shiftcam is no good. But I thought it was. I will be posting a review where I show the focus limitations of their tele lens on the top of the absence of lens caps. As for me being the only one complaining: Irrelevant. Do a pool. Ask professional photographers if they use or not lens caps. Professionals. Not people using iPhones to shoot videos for KZbin only. I am a news shooter and do paid work with my iPhone. Work that is watched by millions of people so I can not and will not treat my iPhone as if it was a toy. Lenses without lens caps are toys. @@FreewellGear
