I wish there was a Key Ring, I like to know exactly where my keys are when retruning from a trip, and not having to dig. And not have them in an outter most zip compartment! I also would love to see you with the pack on your back to see how it looks.

They are called packing cubes not "cubbies". And it's not called "flap folding", it's called clam shell opening. Surprised you didn't call the sternum straps, the "chest strappy thingies.

Good job on the review! One suggestion I'd add: it would be very helpful if towards the end of your video you did some on-screen text breakdowns of the new changes over the Faroe and some bullet list of specs. Would help a ton.

Great video! I don't know if you have had an opportunity to look at the Tortuga Setout series which offers a similar travel configuration with waste belt, and the day pack (which appears even smaller than the Acrido Vega) that fits into the Setout or Setoutdivide Just wondering if you have an input on worthwhile differences between the two. I believe the price points are similar. How do you feel about the wearing/durability of your Akra after nearly a year?

I have a week long trip and a 4 day trip coming up this April and May, respectively. I just discovered the 1-bag travel concept a month ago have been on a thorough search for the perfect bag ever since. I feel like I found the one! However, this updated version won't be shipping out until this summer... so I am considering getting last year's Faroe model. Do you think it's still worth it? I'm particularly worried about the comfort of the shoulder straps and lack of sternum and hip straps.

Wow, this is a very well designed bag. I’ve been using a Tom Bihn Tri Star which is great, but I think a backpack is better for comfort and ability to walk around tight spaces.

I've flown ryanair once, and I honestly cant remember if I had the Arcido with me. But I know the size criteria for carry on luggage is standard so you should be good to go!

ryan air got 90 positions for bigger bagpacks in regular size, be one of the first booker and take some money on top (6 euro/dollarpounds)

@@MarkStapfChannel Well, it so happens that the maximum size for carry-on luggage differs between airlines (even more so the maximum weight). And while this bag will be ok in the majority of cases, there is more than 1 or 2 airlines where it will be too big (and not only by an inch). So please be careful with such broad statements. I love the bag. But it's a pity that due to the front pocket access to the main compartment you can't really secure the bag. It's useless securing the main compartment with a lock when you cas still access it from the front.. facepalm.. Also, when the main compartment is full (all the packing cubes+washbag+shoes), you cannot fit anything in the rear laptop compartment or in the front pocket or side pockets or anywhere else.. That is very unfortunate.
