Great job! The solution for the passenger side axle i believe is to get an rsx type-S halfshaft.

Doing this ATM but using the accords fuse boxes with the complete cl9 steering column to run the key and imobaliser system
@Ontheregz2 жыл бұрын
A conversion harness and immobilizer delete would have made this soo much easier. You need ekk4 mounts for accord trans with eg sub and rsx half shaft.
@kxmoto292 жыл бұрын
It would have made it a lot easier but also more expensive. I was doing it on the cheep 😉

Im working on a similar swap. How can I confirm that you're right about the mounts
@apehouseprezahg66652 жыл бұрын
I love how you handled the issues you came across n addressed them later. I'm doing. A similar build in a dc2 rn. Thanks for the help

This is interesting. I checked this video out a while back. Now I'm doing a similar swap (I'm going with the type S harness, conversion harness from ebay, and k pro). Everyone else on the internet had me convinced you need an aftermarket shift plate, custom line kits. They said the stock exhaust manifold wouldn't work. I was convinced you needed the $600 swap axles, and I'm assuming you stuck with the stock intermediate shaft since it wasn't mentioned. Thanks for the vid, lets see how this goes. The deadline for this car show is in two weeks.
@kxmoto296 ай бұрын
The intermediate shaft is from a manual awd crv i think. The details are getting a little foggy its been so long ago. But shes still running great!

Hi informative video! if I do k24a2 swap to my em2, ca I use all same factory stock accesories from k24a2 too? thank a lot?
@arteTnoeN9 ай бұрын
How did you modify the T bracket? I have everything from an accord but don't want to pay $700 for the hasport mounts. The ebay mounts are made for k20 transmissions.
@hondagamer799 ай бұрын
You have too
@bbyboyd10463 жыл бұрын
how did you put the under dash i know it would have to be alot of plugs not pluged in and did you have to run the vsa switch as well?
@kxmoto293 жыл бұрын
I built my own conversion harness with 2 relays so i could run the accord harness with the accord ecu and the ek cluster. I got rid of the 2 accord fuse boxes and the accord ignition switch

Did you also use the accord transmission? I bought the hasport mounts to use the accord transmission and it set me back $620 after shipping and taxes.
@kxmoto293 жыл бұрын
Its an '08 accord transmission and we had to modify the rear t bracket. The hasport mounts are a good option if you dont want to do any fabrication.

I know this is an old post - I did THE EXACT same thing with an 04 accord parts car into an EF. I needed the EK4 mounts and a custom shaft on the drivers side - the passenger was a RSX base shaft. What did you use?
@kxmoto292 жыл бұрын
I used stock left and right RSX axles, ebay ek k swap mounts, modified the T bracket to work with the 08 accord trans.
@chrisstratton34302 жыл бұрын
He brother - thanks for responding! I should have mentioned mine is an EF (CRX)... I'm a bit confused by your use of the in take regulator - since I can't see your rail in this video I am assuming that it is not the stock rail, that you in fact have an aftermarket rail with a supply in and a supply out type setupp? Thanks again brother.. !!! Really grateful for you for taking the time to respond. I absolutely love the torque that kicks in right before 3000 RPM when VTEC engages. Spins 2nd and 3rd instantly on the stock rims and tires.
@kxmoto292 жыл бұрын
Yes i am using a stock unmodified rail. I have an ebay fuel pressure regulator set up in line just before the rail.
@arteTnoeN9 ай бұрын
Your transmission is from a civic or rsx… that driver side mount doesn’t fit on the accord transmission
@kxmoto299 ай бұрын
The trans is from a newer accord '08+ which the drivers side mount fits but the rear t bracket mount does not. Had to heavily modify the rear mount to make it work.
@arteTnoeN9 ай бұрын
@@kxmoto29 this video is kinda misleading... the transmission... I respect the fact that you did the 4 fuse boxes and wiring, but you should have mentioned the newer trans. Only the expensive hasport mounts will work with the older accord k24 transmission
@kxmoto299 ай бұрын
It was an empty case we had laying around. We used all the guts from the older '04 transmission. At the time i bought the mounts i didnt realize they werent compatible with the accord transmissions. Luckily we had that trans case laying around..
@kevinflores903 Жыл бұрын
