Oh wow....I live in Annandale area for the past two decades and havent seen one of these yet. Cool blower. Theres something so mesmerizing about watching snow cleanup in action. Ive never seen a train ploy or blower either...even though I cross a track every day. Weird i say

I can hear the whispering pines of Annandale from here. Thanks for the comment, Sharon.

Our city has a fleet of these, as does most cites I would think.Especially in the snow prone areas of the country. They make great spectator 'sport' to watch in action.

I wonder what would happen if a person fell in front of this while it was chewing up the snow. I imagine there'd be a flash of red in the plume being blasted out of the exhaust.

I wonder how much the snowblower attachment weighs? 10,000 pounds wouldn't surprise me.
@TomandJulieMineExploring7 жыл бұрын
+Boyd W I'm not sure which model this is exactly but the biggest Kodiak blowers weigh over 18,000 pounds.
@MustangsTrainsMowers7 жыл бұрын
A bucket full of dirt could weigh that much also.
@TomandJulieMineExploring7 жыл бұрын
+Boyd W Good point. I can say from standing next to this machine that both the loader and blower are very hefty.
@jamesbecker32035 жыл бұрын
So why can't they just use the payloaders power to drive the blower does it not have hydraulic hook up or enough power
@TomandJulieMineExploring5 жыл бұрын
Not enough power. These are very powerful engines driving the Kodiak. In the video description there is a link to stats on the blower straight from Kodiak. Thanks for the comment! .

Good pun. All kidding aside, yes they are, especially when you want to move a lot of snow. In this case one is moving the length of a long stretch of railroad track. Tons and tons of snow. Thanks for the chuckle!
@markscala91367 жыл бұрын
Note these machines are throwing the snow not blowing big difference . Even my toro throws snow please people use right word Good day . 🤔
Its technically both since its throwing as what you saw near the end, blowing when he maneuvered and stopped to do a final tail cleanup before doing the latter.
