Had to push Big numbers for the World record. My 2wd Slash GT hopefully can push that 140 mark.

Dude what an awesome build! I have so many questions lol. So i built my own 2wd slash speed run car and also am doing it with the stock body, partly because you are the only person on you tube that did it so i wanted to see if i could. Got it up to 112mph and ran out of room. What gears are u running? Looks like 26/36 which is what im running. And what is that your using for a rear spoiler??
@mydadsrcchannel934 Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Ask any question you want. The gearing is a 34t spur 23-26p The spoiler and the front valance are.both made of cardboard. Cut and bent to shape then fiberglass resin, then a layer of fiberglass and paint. Bolted on with oversized washers underneath. I have a GT 2wd also, check out the other vids and other cars. I recently moved this summer.and the house is alot of work. Hopefully next spring I'll get out there again. And Yes they take alot of room to slow down

@@mydadsrcchannel934 oh trust me ive watched every single one of your videos! You got some fast rigs! Also i gotta say its awesome that you are so willing to answer any questions. Most people dont wanna show what they got for whatever reason.....😒. Great idea with the spoilers, bet they are stout! I just bought a little 1/10 scale generic spoiler from amazon, works ok i guess but could use more downforce. The front valance i just used the extra bits u trim off a new body and screwed them to the front. My biggest problem now i think is voltage sag. Gens ace are good basher batteries but think im gonna try sum CNHL's for next run season. Anyway, good luck with the new house bro! Thx for answering my questions

@@MikeGray-ct6hb thank you again. Push that 2wd👉💥🗯 Over 120-125mph the diff is going to give you problems. It's the back lash from letting off the throttle. I'll be here to answer then...... PS. Jenny'sRc.com Look for traxxas on road then drag slash and purchase that one as it comes with 500,000 diff fluid and it's perfect. You'll need the motor plate also. Cheap prices!

@@mydadsrcchannel934 yea.....ive been going back and fourth for sum time now on whether to spend the money on the 272r. So far ive only put 6 sets of diff gears in so im doing pretty good...smh. I will probably do that lol. Been running the Hot Racing aluminum trans case and the Hot Racing sealed diff with 1M weight fluid. Seems to work ok under pull but as soon as i get on the brakes a little too hard it diffs out and then the car spins out. I tried a diff locker in my raptor to see how it would brake and at least u can brake hard and wont spin out but not sure how its gonna track at speed since it wants to push through turns and stuff, im afraid it mite not let me track straight once i get going

Sorry man one more question lol, what was the kv of that motor? I know u said its a TP3650 but that looked way bigger...just curious. I guess im trying to figure out how far i can push mmx6 and 1515 combo. Thx

Thank you! The car has so much more, but the diff has been the problem. I think I got this time👉 Im from Connecticut.
@theodoreberry34862 жыл бұрын
@@mydadsrcchannel934 the pin and the diff is the weak link of the transmission. If it’s the roll pin use a drag slash input shaft if it’s both then use the drag slash trans should work fine with the 36mm motor. Even comes with a sealed diff and more kick up for better straight tracking.

@@theodoreberry3486 Shhhh...I finally broke down and bought the 272r drag diff! Everything and anything was breaking. It was the backlash of letting off the throttle. Thank you for the advice 👍
