As amazing as this tutorial is, please can we encourage producers to forge their own unique sound? The scene is so overcooked with this signature.
@R1PPA-C5 ай бұрын
Completely agree Most EDM is saturated with drag n drop or copy cat producers unfortunately, it's rare to find those unique tracks anymore. The majority are just rehashed Carbon Copies of everything else form the past decade or more.

Young producers, stop using these videos as references. Watching composition tutorials like this is like going on a reality TV show to become famous. It's stupid. Art, music, identity, it's the result of thousands of hours of composing, making mistakes, plugging in instruments and adjusting them in an extreme, experimental way. Get lost, find your way.... It's because of this kind of tutorial from "successful people who reveal their secrets" that we find ourselves listening to the same crap over and over again. Your perfect music is yours, not anyone else's! Peace (sorry girl, it's not against you)
@gamerturniton30814 ай бұрын
why do we need to layer everything? lets go back to basics, 4 sounds! drums, bass, guitars / leads, vocals. A bass will sound better if it is just one sound coming from the synth, dont need to mix it with another bass. With one sound will sound fuller, fatter. because there won't be many other sounds fighting the spectrum. Also how about we do the opposite of what you are telling us to do? otherwise we are just copying what everybody else is doing. Don't use a riser!. I know a riser will make the moment to be more interesting and euphoric before the drop, but have you guys ever thought of having the same result using just the instruments you have, the sounds coming from it, without the fx? if you manage to produce the same feeling then you are doing something different.

Yes, I make music with ready-made samples instead of doing it properly and I consider myself a really good musician.... oh man, the woman has obviously never spent hours programming devices and now thinks she's a techno freak or something. Like most people. 90% of musicians work with samples, maybe they do something with MIDI for KZbin, but they don't really work for hours with hardware and software. I don't even want to know how many samples are bought at the moment and then cheekily say, I made that myself. Yes, I put them together and mixed them myself, but that has nothing to do with making music ;) sorry
