That's right on the money. 670 crank and 600 at the wheels is about a 10 percent loss. Considering it's a dual clutch transaxle, 10 percent loss sounds about right. Awesome car!

It's rated 670 and has a dct (less driveline loss) and carbon fiber wheels (also less loss) that is why it puts out this power. It's right in line with the 670 rating.

Because the complete trans and rear end assemble bolts directly to the engine. Calculated drivetrain loss is 12.5 to 13% . Also the DCT gobbles up less horsepower than normal automatic trans . A conventional manual trans gobbles up less horsepower than a conventional auto trans.

The power is NOT underrated. The DTC transmission and clutch drastically reduce parasitic loss. The C8 Stingray rated at 495 crank HP by GM puts down 445 to 449 rwhp (also 9 to 10%). Videos all over YT with C8 Stingrays pulling these numbers.
