@@JoeyRF Got to be a HYBRID to do that. My 2012 Drodz Blackbird HIGHLY MODIFIED would shoot at OVER 900fps at 1800 rpm for ages before I need to swap out my portable carbon fiber ultra high pressure bottle. It had an endless magazine too. I forget exactly, but over 1000 BB';s as recall.

the thing is using the same battery, bump the fps to 700 will need almost 4 times the energy used, for a typical 177 caliber pellet it would need almost double that of a bb lets say 7 times the energy, that would make the 1000 shot down to 140, at that point just use a pcp you get same shot count easily and way faster to refill than charge it for few hours.

Got mine yesterday. I walked across the street and showed my neighbors. Within 15 minutes I had 7 Sheriff's SUVs 14 personel and a helicopter. I showed the LEOs my backyard bb gun shooting facility. Showed them my Sig .177 Co2. Invited them in my house. They saw my Kel Tec bullpup 5.56 and Px4 9mm, told them that I was a military veteran, shook my hand and left. Be careful where you "branish " your toys.

With steel bbs they are easy to pick up with an extended telescoping magnetic bolt or tool retriever for automotive use.

I personally wouldn’t mind slowing fire rate. If these are 600rounds per minute and dumps a mag in 3 to 5 seconds, id be happy with maybe 400rpm.. Actually, it would be great to be able to vary the rate from the motor end. So a variable resister that controls the motor speed to give you customizable fire rates. I wonder if thats possible

This tech with pellets rifled barrel with decent accuracy would take over the air gun market in fact it would kill air guns dead in the water the sooner it happens the better. No pumps compressors etc in something pushing pellets at full power. Shut up take my money

I made a few simple changes (CUT STUFF OUT) to the speed loader; no lubricants and I can unload it with a stuffed hopper (approximately 270 bb's) way over the 200 line in about 1 minute.

Barra is awesome! I don't have this bb Monsta yet. It will happen soon. The goal of the ultimate bb fun plinker has definitely been achieved. I am a long time use consumer of airguns. I plink frequently and really enjoy each shot.. I have the 177 1100 i picked it up last spring. Job well done on a poor man's maurauder. What an awesome performance from a budget PCP. I won't be using the regulator. I'm comfortable with the shot curve. I have a long band of higher velocity and consistency in the middle of the bottle. You guys keep designing projects and products that address the annoying design flaws and quirks. Good work. Thank you! jeff

Own two of these bad boys,3 speed loaders, four mags.Other than a tactical light and forward pistol grip I wouldn't alter it other than maybe sum tactical paint .Excellent product by Barra 🥇

I had 2 of these. First one shot 6" low and 6" right. There was not a fix. They sent me a second one. The accuracy was spot on...VERY good. However, this one jammed after about 250 rounds. There was no solution available...I had to return it. When these things work they are truly awesome. Challenge seems to be getting one that works. I REALLY do want one...they are amazing. Hopefully, they get some if these issues sorted. I am.kerping my fingers crossed.

@Douglas Fehan I've seen a video on here on how to clear a jam by removing the lower trigger assembly, have you checked into this at all? H8 to hear of your troubles these ain't cheap but I know the company does good by helping their customers

@@linndubb8919 I did the disassembly...still unable to clear it. I use Gletcher Military BBs. I mean I can live with the $400 number, deal with the 29 cent loader cuz the rifle is so much fun. Just think there are some Chinese Q.C. issues that need addressing.

Nice towards the end of you conversation on up the gun springs Mason Dawson make his own spring and does make custom springs I haven't talked to him yet about the barra but I would doubt he would mind making mods for this barra he love any thing full auto he has his own full auto bb gun form dedicated lol in think of getting a crossman 760 Wich is a 20 inch smooth bore barrel but getting it to fit the barra a different story it shouldn't be to hard and modifiable great stuff I really enjoyed this video I like when I no the people being talked to know what there talking about and what idea can and can't work on different products great stuff 🎯🔫👍👌✌️💯🍻. I have one last question if my barra is heavily moded and not on a warranty but needing internals for some reason will you still be willing to work on the gun I wouldn't expect a warranty even when fixed.✌️💯🍻

I ordered a 400E from Barra on Feb. 1. They indicated that it would arrive on Feb. 4. Late in the day on Feb. 4 it has not arrived. They sent a USPS tracking number on Feb. 2. On Feb. 4, USPS indicates that a label has been created but no item has been received by USPS. The Barra site indicates that the order has been "fullfilled". Barra links to the Route system for tracking packages. Route indicates that, "the merchant is processing the order". I can understand a possible delay in shipping, but it appears that the package was never shipped.

Once again, no fix so had to return it. I REALLY loved this rifle...when it worked. I am just hoping they get the kinks worked out. I would not hesitate to try again if they meet the QC challenges. It is a great gun.

Mine jammed too. I thought it was a bb stuck in the barrel so I bent a metal clothes hanger straight and pushed it down the barrel but after test firing it it still wasn’t firing bbs. I figured out it was a bb stuck right where the mag feeds. It’s been only s couple days owning the fde version. The only thing is the barrel isn’t centered in the faux suppressor so I think it’s affecting the point of impact. I will contact Barra’s customer service. I love that when I can’t make it to the range I just shoot this into a cardboard box in my garage with some fluorescent pink adhesive dots. The same dots I use on my targets shooting at 600 yrds with my Remington 700 chambered in 6.5 Creedmore.

Excellent video, answered many of my questions. My “dream” steel bb barrel would include a “hopup” system. The airsoft guns work so well, without hopup they’d just be nuffguns. I’ve modified the Daisy RRider shot tubes attempting to add backspin -with limited success. You’ve greatly improved the full auto feature--over co2 I also own a Drozd. Wonderful piece of work. But not nearly as practical as the battery system. Stay after it, keep improving. Thx.

Love this. Have lots of experience with airsoft. So this is cool. Build my one airsoft gun up to 10k round a minute but the bbs are literally hitting each other coming out the gun.

I wonder if you could shoot or even if they make .177 lead round ball thru this gun. Edit oh cool gamo makes them and their an 8.17 grain. It would be cool to see what kind of power you could achieve with the tuned/stiffer spring barra and those lead bbs.

Mine is starting to auto fire even when set to semi. This is both fun and scary. Wonder how long before it starts going full auto while set to safety? Speed loader is working fine, I’m on its second charge just over 1000 shots on it. Took off the sights and now have a green laser and a reflex red dot mounted to it. Has a nice low profile with this setup.

A magazine that holds 300 spare BB’ that acts like a speed loader also would be best. While waiting for that to come out the best thing to do is to buy three more speed loaders and two more magazines. Then you can fill them all up pack everything in the gun case and go shooting without having to carry the big bottles of BB’s with you. When everything is empty it’s time to go charge up the battery for tomorrow.

Perfect just what I wanted to know and hair IV heard of that type of barrel before the drozd had made a similar style at one point i also was told by a air soft guy to that the gear box would have a hard time at fast rates so he definitely new these guy no there stuff I can tell IV talk to Mason Dawson he knows full auto on hpa he take the drozd and make it a beast 1100fps 1200psi hpa reg 1000 round mag and 8k per min it sounds insane when it fire's he blows holes threw frying pans the size of a soft ball on a mag dump . He's actually trying to get his own design out he made a hand full of them but prediction stopped the guys that were supplying and making the parts for him are Russian they worked at drozd so he's not a happy camper. when talking to him IV heard these guys touch on some of the things he talks about they should check out his air gun called free bird it's also a AR type full auto on his KZbin videos on his build they definitely would get along with you guys. I loved my 400e until I went to shoot and there was little to know power. I shook it and it fired right. That was strange and I smelled burnt rubber so I took it apart and the coating on the black wire was melted and the wired hung together by a thread.. Not good for a $400 bb gun..

I'm in the middle of watching the video, and had to stop because I was drooling on my keyboard. Nice gun, and it's about time. I've had various BB and pellet guns over the almost 70 years I've been around; pumps, CO2, etc. Loved the CO2, but after the first few shots, power always drops off and I had to fumble with changing the little tank. This gun is awesome for us plinkers who aren't looking to go big game hunting, but who want something fun to shoot. It's a little out of my budget at the moment, so I'll stick with my CO2 handgun and my Barra 1866 to satisfy my plinking needs. I don't suppose you have a handgun with this tech in mind?

I had a Umer X MP 40 and I had problems with the BB's jaming in the mag. I found the black BB's were less likely to jam. I used a little graphite powder in the mag and it solves the problem. Would graphite powder be contra indicated to used a little in the speed loader?

I purchased one of these air guns and after 1000 rounds it is misfiring repeatedly. Do you have any solutions for that? The battery is fully charged and the mags seem fine.

BB guns basics : 1- Clean your barell. 2- Try with a different brand of ammos. 3- Check if there are any broken o-rings that could leak air. 4- If the previous 3 steps didn't change anything than you should e-mail Barra. There is a 1 year warranty on this gun. 5 (bonus) - Do not mess with stuff you're not 100% sure you can repair yourself and worn off that warranty.
