I bought one of these ukes. Your recommendation was part of my decision to purchase one. The uke itself is nothing special. The value of this uke is in being able to use the app. I have had this uke for three days and have been in contact with Populele about the fact that the app does not work. It often does not recognize when you play the right chord. It will not bring up the next lesson it says should be open to you. It has a long load time for songs. And then, to top it off, the app spontaneously closes on my Samsung Galaxy Eight Plus. I would highly recommend not to buy this uke until the software for the app is really fixed. And yes, rather than have purchasers bug test it for them, they should have made sure the app worked on Apple and Android systems before they sent it out. And even if the app does eventually work it is an expensive novelty, and arguably not the best way to learn to play the uke, given there is no sheet music to practice with.

hello John to be honest this is a uke I could definitely use mom has dementia and i find myself suffering from short term memory loss I have played around with the guitar for over 40' years now but about 6 months ago I brought my first uke and are on my second now and really enjoy playing but every time I pick up my uke to play I can't seem to get the chords to register in my brain without having to look them up every time I play so I think personally for people like me this will be a nice instrument and keep up the good work I have learned a lot from you many thanks Ray X

But why? When your playing you can't really look at both the screen and ukulele and it does seem quit novel. Ukulele is super easy to learn too so the product is kinda useless but I see how the app could be useful.
