WOW...my goodness!! I collect vintage wrestling action figures (as well as other action figures) and I've never, ever seen such an awesome collection as the one displayed in this video!! I have never seen some of those black card figures on card ever until I watched this video. Also, major, major points for that awesome Remco AWA collection with the carded Mat Mania figures and those carded Japanese figures. I really respect the genuine passion for collecting that was shown here. Again, this was awesome!! Thanks for sharing!! ✌️

It's kinda crazy that stuff from that time period is still on card and relatively mint. Can only imagine the hours of time and CAD it took to get all of that stuff. Super cool though.

The most sought after wwf ljn figure of all time is the prototype Tito Santana which I have never seen except behind the package

That prototype was most likely destroyed or thrown away. Bill Stanhope, who worked on the line for a few years said that he knows someone else besides himself that worked there and kept some prototypes, but that the person threw away the prototypes he owned. I wouldn't count on that Tito Santana ever surfacing, just like the Hillbilly Jim prototype with the black shirt will probably never surface. Then you have prototypes of many other figures from that line that have never been found yet. I would say whatever is out there and are known to exist is going to be it. The majority of them were destroyed or tossed away. People really didn't save things like that back then. They had no idea how sought after they would be today.

I was spoiled as a kid ,i remember the ljns had been out of stores for awhile and out of nowwhere i saw the blackcards for sale in an issue of wwf magazine. I had my aunt order me all the black card figures that i didnt already have from the blue card waves.. when i found out years later how much they went for i almost choked cuz of coarse they had been lost to history long ago.. it sucks i wish i still had that rude and warrior

I've read on some forums that no one had ever seen the Adrian Adonis or Beefcake black cards and yet here they are in this guy's cabinet, WTF?!

There is a rumor that Miss Elizabeth was re-released for the black card 1989 series as well. Her photo is shown on the back of the card for that series. I've seen a pic of one MOC and saved the pic on my phone. It's possible that someone made the card themselves and put a Miss Elizabeth in the correct bubble and attached it to the homemade card. If It's a fake, they did a hell of a job faking it. Just judging by the photo it looks totally legit. It's the only one I've ever seen before, so who knows if it's the real deal, but if it is real, it could be the only one in the world. I don't see one here in this guy's collection, but it supposedly exists out there.

My Slaughter figure is both sticky and has the sun spots. It's from being in my hot attic, not water damage from the factory. My friend has the same figure with no issues, because it's never been in the attic.

They all have the spots. There hasn't been one found without the spots on them. Not everyone kept theirs in hot, humid attics or damp basements.

They are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them. Asking prices online and some stores are all over the place. As far as just sitting on a shelf and not being for sale, then they aren't worth anything but sentimental value.

You'd be surprised. A lot of people got in before the market went apeshit. For example, I've been collecting since Early 2000s. I over time have probably spent less than 25K on my collection total. It's probably worth 120K.
