I live in one of those countries and i’m looking forward to a better life where i feel safe and can have a suitable life. Jack, thank you for putting this up even though it wasn't what you expected. As someone who has experienced abuse at the hands of parents for almost all of my life I have something to add. When I went to a shelter, they eventually provided me with counseling. After my third session I was kicked out and forced into a mental hospital because I disclosed things they didn't agree with. Guess who I had to go back to? My abusers. There is much work to be done in that area, and that has nothing to do with refugees. They have it worse than I do, for sure, but if what I experienced is the best we can offer then everybody is fubar'd if they need that kind of help. Also... A thought: Next charity live stream could be to help a charity that rescues/counsels/helps victims of human trafficking... it's a HUGE problem here in America, and honestly- world wide. Look up the statistics if you've got a strong stomach. There are many wonderful organizations that work tirelessly to help these victims and bring awareness to others about how to get involved in this fight. Many are religious based, but there are a few non-affiliated organizations as well. Please consider donating to such a cause if you are able. Why would you pick HOW you were going to die over WHEN? If you find out when, and it’s 50+ years from now, you know you’ll live a long life and can enjoy it and take risks - for example, you could go sky diving or swimming with sharks with no fear of death since you can’t die for another 50 years. On the flip side, if it is shockingly soon, you can plan out your days and spending with the people you love and doing things you’ve always wanted to do (use that savings account while you can)! If you do HOW, and it tells you “car crash”, you would never want to get in a car again, because you’re risking that today would be the day the crash happens. You’d become paranoid. Or it would say something like “cancer” or “heart attack” and while you could try to minimize the risk, it could also happen at any time and it’s unavoidable.

Yeah but here's another issue with knowing When you're gonna die. And it has to do with what you literally said, with no fear of death you get a false sense of security. "Swim with Sharks" ok I'm sure you were exaggerating there but the point still stands, that Shark can still bite your leg or arm off, you could still have an accident while sky diving and do severe damage to you're body. Knowing when you're going to Die doesn't mean knowing when you're going to get horribly mutilated, terribly sick, paralyzed from the waist down or put into a coma. And by assuming you're safe you only risk bad things happening to you more. Where as know How you're gonna die, unless it's supper specific, you still have to be careful. Cause you Don't know when it's gonna happen.
