Did you see the latest discovery in the Peten jungle of Guatemala, where with LIDAR, they have found up to 60,000 new Maya structures (palaces, roads, pyramids, ceremonial plazas, ordinary houses). And that was just around where Tikal is located, and if they get to do around the Mirador Basin, it will be amazing discoveries pretty soon.

El Mirador was first discovered in 1926, and was photographed from the air in 1930, but the remote site deep in the jungle had little more attention paid to it until Ian Graham spent some time there making the first map of the area in 1962.

I was in Guatemala in August and my cousin befriended a guard who took us on a mini tour during his break; He told us that they made a major discovery and there has been teams of archeologists from all over the world. The teams were not just exploring the jungles but re-evaluating the already discovered pyramids and in one of them they found a priests tomb in a "attic" and a huge stone or wood carving of the sun god.

Today's Maya still speak their own languages just like their ancestors did. There is no DNA or Cultural matches between any of he ancient civilizations of the Americas and Africa. African did not have the boat technology to travel across the seas, and there is no sea current that can take people back and forth between Africa and Mesoamerica. Cortez or any other Spanish never referred to the Natives as Blacks, Just called them dark skinned. If Africans were here long ago, There would be DNA
@lollmao49434 жыл бұрын
@akelly929 I do think historical figures of bible traveled to the Americas to trade but NEVER lived here or establish civilization. The native Americans are truly indigenous to this continent, since they have been longer than what the Bering strait theory dates. There is zero evidence of African bones before Columbus. Natives are not African especially just because they were a dark shade of brown. Natives were the first to be called the N word but they still weren't african. Indians are dark and they aren't black. Neither are the aboriginal Australians. Don't get it twisted.

Isn't Sub Saharan African History good enough for you? Isn't Post Colombian Era America & African American history good enough for you? I guess not, you live off the history of ancient Native Americans! Pre Colombian Americas is only a Native American History, all DNA which is A, B, C, D & X are Native American and related to Asiatic Siberians & Asiatic East Asians, also dental traits points to a Asiatic Origin. North Africa is predominantly of Arab, Caucasian Berber and Semitic influence.

El Mirador, Guatemala is where the Mayan civilization was born, where it grew to its highest levels and from where it expanded to its farthest settlementes all over Mesoamerica. El Mirador en Guatemala es donde la civilizacion Maya nacio, donde crecio a su mas alto apogeo y desde donde se expandio hasta sus ciudades estados mas lejanas al rededor de toda Mesoamerica.

Hugo Berlusconi read the Book of Mormon and you will know the History of those ancient cities. The Book of Mormon is a record of people who lived in the ancient america. We can read in the Book that the people who lived in the ancient america has already a great civilization. They built many cities, roads, buildings and etc. But the people who built those cities become wicked and started not to believe in God and so there were many wars recorded in the Book of the people who live in the ancient America. Because of the wickedness of the people they got distroyed except american indians. You will know more if you read the book.

Some Native Americans do have wide noses & wavy hair, particularly the tropical Natives of the Amazon & the jungle areas of Mexico & Central America, sometimes found in the Southeast United States, also found among some Polynesians. You confused Afrocentrics think “wide noses, dark skin and wavy hair” (which is a tropical look, evolved due to genetic drift) is automatically Black.

W Fitz Bruh thank you, stay woke. Look at how many of our people were taken to african countries, central America, Haiti, Europe- all American people. There's melanin beings all throughout Earth that wasn't enslaved yet they have no African languages, traditions, or cultures. Them being people of color that's when the lies of "you were taken from Africa " bullshit come into play. Every civilization in Earth were/are that of a melanated people

Yudah El Factz!! You can google and check for yourself. But the paintings inside of those pyramids in Guatemala are Of melanin people. I have the pics on my phone bro. It’s dope to know that I am not the only one who knows and accepts this. Most melanin people been told they was from Africa so much that’s the only thing they want to believe. White HISTORY IS FALSE! They said the Mayans just disappeared. We right here in America, they don’t want any of us to know. Tryin to do the same thing w rap music, 100years from now they’ll say a white or mex person created it w a picture of Justin briber next to it lol

Greetings from Canada! Guatemala has the cradle of the greatest civilization ever. Even what is called the mayan Riviera belongs to Guatemala since the territory of Yucatan, Campeche and Chiapas used to belong to Guatemala even though mexico stole it from them. God bless!
@saidmorales79109 жыл бұрын
You need to read a little bit more about Mexico and Guatemala territories before making such a mistaken commentary... First of the Mayan culture has no boundaries and territory divisions While they where governating Mexico, Guatemala,Honduras, Belice etc didnt exist.. Second... México never stole territory to Guatemala, Chiapas wanted to be part of mexico and Guatemala gave Soconusco to Mexico by Will...

(2) Thick planks were lashed together by rope fed through mortises. The seams between them were caulked with reeds. The boats did not have any internal framing and were twisted when they were uncovered. It would be impossible for Egyptians boats to handle the storms, waves and dangers of the open sea + these boats weren’t large enough to store food to last the entire trip. These boats were designed for river & coastal travel.

I think the real huge discovery here is the Popol Vuh written by mayans. The Spanish monks collected several narrations by the mayas and wrote about it. But, until now, there wasn't a writting by the mayans narrating the Popol Vuh. I'll try to make a summary but you can read more in wikipedia I think. Several gods create the world and animals, but animals didn't venerate the gods, so gods condemned them to eat each other.
