Here is our second documentary. It’s a story about Ammar’s dream to climb the Pyramid of Giza and where that actually led him to...a dream he never knew he had, deep in the jungles of Guatemala. Thank you for those of you who supported the paywall for the past month, you made this doc and future ones possible for us. Thank you to all of you for supporting our dreams. Hope you enjoy the film now here on KZbin!
This film was made with deep respect and love for our planet and all living things. No animals, flora, fauna (or people) were harmed in the making.
Thank you to Presi, Gabriel and Mario for guiding us through this experience. You can find more about their company, Maya Cosmos Ascension, here www.guatemalascension.org
If you would like to learn more about the Maya Biosphere Reserve, and the conservation efforts underway in Guatemala, please go to www.rainforest-alliance.org/a...

It took 7 days in the jungle of Guatemala, 8 weeks of editing with a whole team of editors and a community supporting us by purchasing the doc early to make this happen... (And then KZbin doesn't let us monetize it hah, great!). No but we feel so grateful for this wild adventure and couldn't be happier we finally uploaded this to KZbin. The amount of endless software problems, challenges in the story and brainstorms on how we could continue making films like this in the future has been wild. We're stoked to be in a place where we're happy to put this out for all of you guys to see. Thank you so all the creators for joining us and helping make this film possible. Thank you so Sam Kolder, Andreas Hem, Sorelle Amore, Johnny FPV, Chelsea Yamase, Max Rantz MacDonald and Perry Grone. There are links in the description for biosphere preservation, we highly encourage you to check it out and support in whatever capacity you can. MUCH LOVE!

Ammar, as an Egyptian girl whose wanted nothing more than to travel, see the world, make a change, and meet incredible people like you all- your story touches the deepest part of my heart. To defy expectations we didn't even ask for put on us in this culture always results in getting disowned in one way or another. I've been struggling so much with what I want to do. The anxiety of facing my own parents non- support, judgement, and flat out defiance against what makes me most happy is crushing. I see myself in you just as I know so many will as well in similar situations. Thank you for being brave, open, honest and sharing your story and heart with the world! You're leaving it a much better place than when you entered and for that you have nothing to be ashamed of. I thank you so much for giving me the most needed hope right now to follow my own path despite the resistance♥️ may you always do too and find all the love and happiness

I love you guys! Literally after wasting most of my teenage years and 20's in a self destructing spiral of self hate and in a constant replay of the trauma and abuse I endured as a child and in my teens, I just want to say that its because of yes theory that I have began seeking my own discomfort and I started with getting clean from an almost 17 year heroin addiction and beginning to look inward to begin to take the necessary steps to heal the cycles of abuse and the trauma from the past to better be able to live in the now and have a brighter future. I love you guys and I am so happy I found yes theory a year ago and its prolly the most pivotal moment in my life and has lead me to be able to live a new again. So thank you all. More like needlessly dangerous and unjustifiably stressful to the animals. Johnny keeps crossing these boundaries when he documents wildlife, there's a point when you stop being an observer and instead begin harassing animals for the sake of the shot. It happens with overzealous documentarians who film on foot, but its even worse with clout chasing drone operators. Having one of those things buzzing by wildlife while they're running away is inhumane and needlessly traumatizing.

Realising that your 'loved ones' don't actually love you for who you are is one of the hardest, darkest, and heaviest things to go through. It is a void that no one can fill, but can only be made peace with, by YOU. Watching Ammar's emotional flashback was a beautiful confirmation of his loving spirit, and ultimately a pure demonstration of how wonderful of a job his parents did raising and nurturing these qualities. His 'defiance' is another demonstration of how critical it is for every human being to pursue their own independent happiness, with/without anyone's permission. It's something that most parents forget, and I believe, is a defence mechanism of a parent to maintain their (well-meaning) fantasy to block the inevitable reality that their baby, WILL leave the nest, and they (as parents) will no longer have the power or control to protect him from the unknown, and /or influence him to maintain a status quo that is known. This channel is a positive, loving example of how important 'family' is, whether they share your blood, or it is one you need to create yourself. The adventure of finding this pyramid, is a great metaphor for all these creators who (on the surface) came together for this trip, but (beneath the surface) actually, like superheroes, they came together from all corners of the KZbin sphere, for Ammar.

This episode hit me hard, only started watching you guys last week and already I've been inspired by your journeys so much! Ammar and his relationship with his dad and the power of his dreams brought a tear to my eye fr. I'm very close with my father but he lives in Madeira, Portugal 🇵🇹 and I live in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 so seeing him isn't a thing that happens often, so when I see the respect Ammar has for his father regardless of the situation between them, it instantly inspired me to book flights where I'm going to surprise visit my father in March! I'm absolutely stoked now and I know had I not have watched you guys none of this would have happened so honestly Thank-you and please continue to create your unbelievable content and show people to chase their dreams. I'm no professional but I will be attempting to document my journeys from now as I feel its something I want to show, that it's possible to get your dreams no matter who you are. Ammar, you are one of the bravest souls I know. We can all see how much you love your family, you know that their way of responding is their way of how they think they are ‘protecting’ you but you still go after your dreams and share your struggle. Bravo. I hope they will see that video one day and understand that you do love them, this wasn’t easy but you still have to do this. If you would have given in you would have less struggle, but you would have also felt less alive. So kudos for following your dreams. Your family will come around.

This is sincerely one of the few times that I watched a documentary from start to finish, no breaks all in one sitting. I am fascinated by video content creation and you guys absolutely killed it. Yes Theory has a set of mind, a vision and a look on life that I always have. I feel so incredibly supported to see that I am not alone. This documentary made me very emotionally. I cried/weeped, I had moments of pure joy and moments of incredible gladness. Ammar his story touched me the most. Ammar I really hope you see this. My father and I have had no contact for around 4 years now since we have deeply seated issues which cannot be resolved. Ammar you are not alone and I would like to know that I as a simple Yes Theory Fan am there for you. Even though it's maybe only in thoughts. Me and everyone from the Yes Theory Family is with you. Much love, Govert from the Netherlands
